We aren't date twins, but that is my birthday! 
I think that Friday night weddings are awesome, we would have done it, but our venue was actually less expensive on a Sunday evening...so we are doing Sunday. I think you see more and more non-Saturday weddings anymore, since couples are paying for a lot of their celebrations themselves.
Yeah, I am also a Sunday bride. We were tempted to do Friday but our venue was already booked since it is a huge holiday here. I'm sorry you haven't found your date twin yet. I was sad the first time I found a date twin, I wanted it to be all MY DAY and didn't want to share. lol.
Well, my wedding is on the 11th - but since we're ahead in our Aussie time zone, we'll be married at practically the same time! ;)

We're not date twins, but we're Friday month twins! I'm getting married June 17th. FI has a HUGE family and it was just more economical for us to have the wedding on Friday. It was the best way for us to have the wedding we want while including our entire families.

I am having a 4pm ceremony what time is yours?
@asunw: Our ceremony would start at 6 pm and the reception would be at the same place as well. How many guests are you expecting?
We invited 244 guests and were hoping that we'd have around 150 given that it was a friday ceremony and etc, but we have only had 1 (no) so far, so I really don't know. Over 200 would really be cramping our venue but we haven't had very many people who had guests respond yet.
We are having everything at the same place too. We have to be shut down by 10:30 so 4 was the latest I felt we could go. :)
How many guests are you having? When did your caterer request a headcount by? Ours said May 15, so we have a return date of May 1 on our cards and then we will be calling.
@asunw: We are expecting less than 100 guests, maybe 60 to 80. Sending out invites next week, still doing the addresses on it. Our venue needs the final headcount 5 business days before, so we stated RSVP date as May 27. Have you gotten your programs finalized yet? I am looking on Etsy for some cute ones! Have you taken dance lessons yet? Im pretty nervous about our first dance..

I'm not a date twin with you but I AM going to a wedding on that day! One of my friends is getting married on 6/10/11!
We are having a Friday wedding- 11/11/11... :) and it is going to rock! So will yours!
We are not twins my wedding is in november.. but it is on a friday!!!

@josephine90: We aren't taking dance lessons, I'm actually pretty nervous about it but it should be ok. Your venue is awesome I wish we could give them a headcount in June! I haven't even thought about programs yet! I'll make them though.
5 more weeks! I can't believe we're almost there! My mom and sisters are coming to help me finish up flowers this weekend and then I need to finish signs, etc. :) I'm still trying to figure out RSVP'S too, I've got about 19 left to track down.
@asunw: I know!! I have plenty of rsvp left to track down, then again i gave them till end of the mth to do so, i kinda regret doing dat now! I am having my second fitting next mon, and I just bought my jewelry from etsy!! I feel like Im missing sth but i dunno what, haiz..
Oh my goodness! 3 more weeks I'm so excited! I got final counts now, we invited 253 and will have 160 guests. It should be perfect. My list is slowly but surely dwindling. I started on table assignments this week, man is that difficult. My bachelorette party is the weekend so I'm going to have my mom and sister help me with it.
How are you doing? Are you super stressed? My stress is going in waves it'll be super high and then really low. I am very ready for June 11, I'll be married to my love and all of the planning will be over. ;)
I am a date twin!!! I am getting on this day at 1pm. We are having about 45-50 guests and we are hineymooning at CEDAR POINT AMUSEMENT PARK for 2 days. Our colrs are wine and white. Our eniter ceremony is FREE, thanks to a wonderful church in my city. My 13 yr old daughter is my maid of honor. I am getting so nervous. This was a TIGHT BUDGET wedding, but all I care about is being MRS. B at the end of the day.
@asunw: Hey!! I am super stressed! My guest list is no where near final yet, I should start calling ppl soon. My MOH is keeping my bachelorette party as a surpirse for me, so I have no idea what we'll gonna do yet.
Haha, I dun really want the planning to end, I mean what am I going to do then? I am always doing something wedding related the past year, that I'll probably go crazy not doing that lol :)
@bryenswife: We'll hoping to have 50 to 60 guests too. At first I was a little dissapointed that we cant have a bigger wedding but thats all that our budget permits and we'll saving for house, so I guess thats worth it for my LOVE!
9 Days!! I have family coming in, in 1 week, oh my goodness! =)
Hope your stress level has gone down, I've got a lot to do but I know it will get done and if it doesn't oh well. We'll be married!

Do I have a date twin here? Or am I completely out of the norm for having it on a Friday? I can't help but feel left out when most weddings are on a sat, but we really wanted the better deals from vendors on fri!
