It’s probably best to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.  Unless you’re psychic you won’t be able to divine the weather :/  Have you made a back-up plan in the event of bad weather?  You can move things indoors if a facility is available, or rent a tent to provide shade if it’s very sunny and shelter in case it’s rainy.

Honestly, when you’re dealing with the weather, you will never, EVER be sure that it will not rain on your wedding day. Use google to search for the weather patterns/averages/history for your area, but have an indoor backup just in case. Good luck!

Just make sure you have a contingency plan. On June 1, 2012, Debbie hit Florida. I realllly hope another storm doesn’t hit, but all I can do is plan for the ourdoor ceremony we want but make sure we have a plan B.

Our wedding is outdoor as well. Just make sure you have a back up plan. The last thing you need is to be worrying weeks and days before the wedding about the weather. Of course, we all hope for sunshine ๐Ÿ™‚

I have the same issue so we are just renting a tent.  I figure the tent will shade our guests from the sun or will cover them from rain.  Either way I won’t have to stress about any last minute weather changes.

You can never be sure of whether it will rain or not. Not even the Farmer’s Almanac can tell you. You can always check online whether your area is prone to rain at that time.

But you should always have a back-up plan. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

I would have a back-up plan just in case. I am getting married in May of all months, and that month is the most weather-confused month there is. I really wouldn’t mind if it rained to be honest.

I don’t know what the businesses are like in your area but in California, there are places where you can rent a huge tent thing for your wedding (no deposit or anything), and if you don’t need it, they won’t charge you, but if you do, you’ll be prepared.

I am getting married June 1st as well! Ours is outdoors and we don’t have a backup plan quite yet. We did look at farmers almanac and the weather seemed like it should be perfect. I live in Michigan tho, so no one ever knows what the weather may be ๐Ÿ™‚

I would just have a backup plan in place.  You really can’t get even a guess until a week or two before and even then it’s not necessarily accurate.  You could probably know pretty accurately with a few days of the wedding though!

We are having ours on June 8th outside.. We are just praying for good weather!  And if it would happen to rain, everyone will have umbrellas.. I think you could get pretty awesome pictures with a whole bunch of colorful umbrellas!! You always have to look on the bright side and hope for the best!  …And maybe have a back up plan ๐Ÿ™‚

Fingers crossed for no rain, because that’s my wedding day too! ๐Ÿ™‚
