There is a hitory section where you can plug in your location and then look at whatever you want from previous years. It shows you everyting for the day from temp to rainfall. It gives Actual, average, and record for certain areas as well.
We're getting married outside also on June 19, 2010 and I would also like to know...so if you can find something where you can find out what the weather was like in past years please let me know.
This one give pretty good monthly averages!

I was thinking about an outside wedding but was scared of the weather, but one of my friends referred me to go look up in the weather almanac as to what's the average weather is like at that time. I guess you my need to google weather almanac! I decided to pull it in the church and not worry about it, I really did wanted outdoors though.
With this weird weather, I wonder if the avg. would mean anything... It's 70 degrees today in December here in New England!
Thanks for the sites! I'm glad you posted this Ms. Merlot, I'm absolutely 100% concerned about our outdoor ceremony :)
Also, I know it's a little silly but my FMIL consulted the Farmer's Almanac, which is freakishly accurate...It says it's going to rain on Friday night (boo, no outside rehearsal dinner) but clear up by Saturday, June 12 so hopefully (finger's crossed!) I'll get my outdoor ceremony and reception! Also, you can always just go to www.weather.com and look at the averages for your wedding date...
@trailmix: Mine is upstate, outside and on June 12 too!
The way I figure the weather for next June is that it rained in New York for something like 24 days of June this year. That has to be some sort of freak of nature and unlikely to happen again. That's what I keep telling myself ;o)
my wedding is june 12 on my birthday as well, im wondering will it rain in miami, how can i get a predictable forecast
I was married outside last June. It rained the entire week up to the wedding but the day of the wedding, the clouds parted and it was beautifully sunny!
I know it probably doesn't help until 2 weeks before the wedding, but if you check yahoo weather they give pretty accurate weather up to 2 weeks in advance. The weather has been changing so much here in california over the years that the average doesn't really mean anything here. :) But if I remember right it wasn't too hot last year.
We did check the weather history broadly when we chose our date, but it really is pretty hard to guess at this point....just in the last five years or so, the temps on our date in our city have ranged from 60 to 99 (with low 70s the "average").
We're just going to (try to) train our OOT guests to check the weather beforehand and pack accordingly....which is helpful anyway because no matter how many times I say it, most of my East Coast family just does not believe that San Francisco Bay Area weather isn't balmy California beach weather! Hopefully they'll believe weather.com even if they don't believe me.... :)
we are getting married "outside" on a garden deck of the building we are having our reception in. the awesome thing is - IF it were to rain that day, they bring everything in and set up the ceremony inside.
but i REALLY hope, obviously, that on june 26 it's beautiful (as every other day in june for all you wonderful ladies!) as I am SOO looking forward to our garden deck!
The weather report for Virginia Beach is not looking good for June 12.
One predicts a tropical storm in early June: http://www.almanac.com/weather/longrange/region/us/2
And the other predicts heavy rainfall: http://www.almanac.com/weather/longrange/region/us/4
My wedding ceremony will be on the back deck of our venue (covered, but not entirely). Cocktail hour is completely outdoors, and reception inside. Ugh... this may give me a mild panic attack.
Ugh, don't get me started! The almanac says for PA: has the same chance of rain as not raining and the same chance of repeating last year's weather as not repeating it.
SEriously? Did someone actually get paid to draw up this report?? The truth is you won't know the weather until that exact minute. And I"m praying for all of us June brides to actually have a decent chance for sunshine!!
yay thanks!
Mine is June 13th outside in NC. I'm expecting the worse - HOT HOT HOT, HUMID to the max! Oh and rain would be a downer too.
All of us June brides should band together and do an anti-rain dance together, ok?
I've lived here on SoCal all my life (I'm an original valley girl) if you're getting married on the beach in June you have absolutely nothing to worry about. There's not a chance it will rain and it's unlikely it'll be cold, at worst you'll have some "June Gloom" (which is moisture being picked up from the sea and hanging - not really humidity because it's not hot necessarily but definitely this weird overcast look sometimes) but it usually burns off by the later afternoon and even if it doesn't it turns into AWESOME sunset pictures! good luck! By June the temperature should be warm maybe even hot but in the evenings you'll usually get a nice cool breeze and you shouldn't have to worry about the heavier Santa Ana winds at that point! Good Luck!

Are there any brides out there getting married outdoors? My FI and I are having our ceremony on the beach in Southern California on 06/12/2010 at sunset. Does anyone know of any good websites I could check to see what the weather was like in prior years?
