Has anyone else ever had/have the worst time picking colors?? It doesn't help that I'm so indecisive.
First, the colors were going to be navy and pink with the girls wearing navy and the guys wearing charcoal. Then we couldn't find charcoal tuxes, so we moved to pewter and pink with the girls wearing pewter (which is just a fancy way to say gray) and the guys in black tuxes. Now my MOH (and sister) suggested pink dresses might pop better in pictures. And I don't have a clue what I want.
So, what are your colors? Has anyone used or planning to use gray and pink for a June wedding??
I actually hope to use those colors myself! I haven't finalized anything, but I'm leaning toward using charcoal gray and pink (probably more of a dark pink/light purple, though).
Nah, our colors just kind of chose themselves!
We're having an outdoor, wooded ceremony and a barn reception, so we're going with earth tones and it'll flow beautifully, i think
Greens, creams, and browns. (A mix of green, dark to medium shades, shades of cream, and dark browns
)
@Roe: I wish we had a venue that helped chose the colors. The indoor space is pretty much a blank canvas while the outdoor area is surrounded by flowers of all colors. What color are you using for the girls' dresses?
Pink might pop more, but depending on the shade gray is probably much more flattering.
I was going with poppy, minty and blush, but now we're not sure (FI doesn't like it). I woke up this morning thinking turquoise and copper, though I have no idea how I would incorporate copper.
My girls are wearing green (my favorite) and carrying orange and yellow flowers. My mom hates it, but I think they go nicely together and are very summery.
My ceremony colors are black and green and the FG and I in white.
The reception colors are various shades of green with white, brown and gold.
Were doing a very forest theme but the ceremony is more elegant so we went with all black head to toe and green accents.
White, champange and burgandy. Like our invites!
Hues of blush, violet, and gray for us! Each of my three bridesmaids will wear a different dress in one of these colors.
@mrsbruff2b: I love your invitations, very classy!
Idk, I need to figure that out. We are getting married outside, so we need to see what flowers are in season. There are some pink, yellow, and white roses which should be in bloom, so maybe mixing one of those colors with green.
We're doing Purple, black & white which I'm not too happy with since it seems like everyone's wedding is Purple nowadays...since I'm not in the mood I completely change everything being that we've chosen our flowers I've decided to make the bridesmaids dresses champagne & have a deep purple sash!
My colors are navy, yellow and orange. The girls are wearing navy. The guys are wearing charcoal suits. There will be sunflowers and some orange flowers I haven't picked yet.
Haven't really set our scheme yet but so far we're playing with pink, purple and orange

Ours are sherbet colors, like the above. Basically anything warm, pinkish or peachy goes.
@Summer82: We are in the same boat. I came up with an inspiration board and all...now I'm I having second thoughts. I hate that I'm having a hard time committing. smh.
@Au Jardin: Thank you~ To be honest, I really couldn't decide on our official colours until I did the invites. I think that was the point where I said to myself, "Get your rear into gear and just decide damnit!" LOL
Our inspiration board.

@HueysLuda: What was your original color scheme? I would love to see.
@mrsbruff2b: I love the boarding pass idea for a destination wedding!!
plum and charcol grey, or Purple and Silver depending on how particular you want to be.
I'm still deciding, but leaning towards navy and turquoise. (Yes, blue and blue - not sure about that, but hopefully it works.)
Pink and champagne - the girls will wear champagne dresses, the flower girls in hot pink, the men in black with champagne vests/ties. All the flowers will be hot pink - thinking peonies or garden roses.
@Summer82: We're doing different shades of green and the guys will be in khaki/stone suits
My wedding was last June but I remember how hard it was to pick colours. I ended up having the girls in a coral pink (cantaloupe by Mori lee) and they looked great in photos, especially the ones outside. The guys wore buttercup yellow vests because they would've killed me if they had to wear pink and they looked great too. Here are some photos to give you an idea.

Mint green and peach/blush tones. Haven't worked out the details beyond that! Maybe ivory accents?
I am having a tough time deciding too!! I am having an outdoors wedding, and I know I don't want anything too bright colour-wise. I am leaning towards a pastel yellow and pastel pink, and have the men in grey tuxes to keep the colours light and summery. But I totally feel indecisive too! :(
I thought that deciding the colors would be an easy decision, but it is turning into the hardest one yet. Here are the BM dresses I LOVE and luckily they come in many colors. If I went with gray, I would get platinum. If I go with pink, I love hydrangea, misty pink, and peony. I think I would have to go see the colors in real life though because they can look so different online.
We are doing Marine Blue, orange, yellow, and green. Bright colors all the way!
We almost did pink, gray and blue. We changed our minds again and now are FOR SURE doing turquoise, royal purple and cobalt blue. Hurray!
I'm totally with you on the indecisiveness!! I knew I wanted teal as my main color and was having such a difficult time choosing a second color, SOOO I decided not to! We are going to be using gerbera daisies (mostly pink and orange) so it will be a pretty colorful event! But... teal, that's our main color!
@Summer82: I found a dress that I really like for my girls. But the colors available did nothing for my blue and green inspiration board above. I revamped my inspiration board (well, half of it) with a new color scheme idea that incorporates one of the available colors that I liked. I found a cute pair of shoes too. But, I just found out that they are sold out...
I did a complete 180, lol!

I am also doing gray and pink - blush pink that is. BM dresses will be gray, but I can't decide if they should be lighter, like "platinum" or dark, like charcoal gray. Flowers will be blush and so will flower girls, with black tuxes on the guys.
Maybe charcoal is too dark for summer? But light gray plus blush seems too washed out?? ahhh tough choices (:
Have you looked at this website yet? It's excellent for color inspiration.

I knew I wanted turquoise as my main color. I love blue so that just kind of ended up in the mix. Usually I hate yellow but somehow it snuck in there as an accent color, lol. Deep teal BM dresses (and GM vests), I'll have ivory roses, blue hydrangea, and sunflowers, BMs will carry sunflowers, And I think we'll have a lot of sky blue and turquoise decoration with a tiny bit of sunflower here and there. I haven't found a palette for it though.
Shades of purple: plum, lavender, lilac, etc -- then balanced out with accents of charcoal, gold, cream and black.
Our colors are pastel pink, and tan. The bridesmaid will be wearing pink dresses and the groomsman in tan/khaki colored suits with matching pink ties. SO EXCITED!!!!
We're doing white and light gray for the main colors, and light pink for an extra pop of color here and there.
Oh God, you are all so organized and decisive! Is it bad if my answer is "Um....blue?"
Haha. Seriously, though, I think it's just blue and white. Not even really sure what shade of blue yet....it'll depend on what dresses the girls like and what flowers are available I guess!
We are doing navy, peach, and ivory. Most things will be navy and ivory, but we will add the peach with peach roses.
Our two main colors are Jade and Canary from AA. I can't wait to see what they look like together. hopefully super bright!
