Yay for June 25! You are way ahead of the game... I know (almost) everything I want, there's just the part of ordering/booking. I want to make sure I don't change my mind!
I think June 25, 2011 is the most perfect date! I have already been engaged over a year and am itching to get started. I am planning on doing as much DIY as I can and love finding great deals (like $7 unity candle holders and $8 clutch flowers). Making my open flowers from crepe paper and making/designing my own centerpieces! Wow I hope I finish in time! When are going planning on dress shopping? When should we buy? Any great ideas?
you've still got time to find a dress. they usually take about 7-9 months to come in after you order them. just make sure to allow for enough time for alterations once it comes in. driving 4 hours to try on a dress isn't bad! i think drove almost 3 hours to try on a specific dress. once i got there, i found one i loved even more! im finding myself slightly jealous of you! lol! my wedding is june 26, 2010 which means i have less than 6 months and i keep finding myself wishing i had a little bit more time for all the planning. lol! good luck!!!
Wow... So, June must be very popular for weddings... (I've never thought of another month to get married, I just love the early summer!) We are meeting, (and probably booking,) our photographer/videographer this weekend! I can't believe it because I was planning to get everything booked this summer - I thought a year out would be good enough! Apparently not, I called a venue, and they already had a wedding booked!! I can't believe that! So... I better figure out what I want, and quick!!
Whoop Whoop! Yeah for June 25th! So ready to get everything set in stone! Found the dress (went to "just look" and fell in love with the second dress I tried on), but having the hardest time to finding a ceremony/ reception site, indoors, same location that fits into our budget and my FI's stingy checklist of "must haves". Hopefully we will find the perfect place before someone else snatches it up!
June 25 2011 is by far my favorite date!! :-)
I may be jumping the gun.. we have our reception/ceremony site booked, just ordered my save the dates, working on invites, bought a dress, made my veil, have a cake topper!
My only fear is that I will run out of space to put all my DYI projects!!
Hi everyone! This is my very first post.
I'm getting married on June, 25 2011 too! I thought the date was perfect because there is a gorgeous rose garden near my reception site and by late June everything should be in full bloom. I've always wanted to get my pictures taken with all of the beautiful roses and now my wish is coming true! The waiting begins...
Hi girls! We just set our date for June 25, 2011 on Saturday, yay! We've already done quite a bit of planning for decor & style of the wedding and we have outlined all our DIY projects. We pretty much have a venue picked out but haven't put the deposit down yet. I'm excited to start trying on dresses this summer.

We've set this date too :) the reason being is that it's G's 30th birthday - he'll remember the anniversary and be able to work out how many years very easily from there hehehe. Congrats girlies!

Wow Christine, you are way ahead for sure :-) We just have our venue and photographer. Next up is the caterer and entertainment. Maybe you could plan my wedding too since you'll have a little free time ;-) Hehehe. Nice to "meet" you!

:) June 26, 2011 !! and i cant wait. We have booked the church, venue, finished the save the dates, and i found my dress last week.. havent ordered it just yet ! but i will be! congrats girls!
We're also getting married 6/25/11! So far we've booked our venue/caterer [a country club, where we'll have the ceremony + reception] and our DJ. We're looking into photographers right now and my godmother, a baker, is making our cake.
I'm trying to pick one or two big things to do each month so we're not overwhelmed...

Congrats to you all! I am so excited to be able to talk to others getting married on the same day as I. I have the reception and DJ booked, but I am having a hard time finding a church with center isle that I like. Trying to plan a wedding that is going to be in Ohio when I live in Virginia is already stressing me out. Also, I think I am more excited about planning the honeymoon than the wedding. Anyone going on a cruise?
Clearly June 25th is thee best day! 
We have our reception site and our photographer booked! We're still figuring out HOW to book our ceremony site (its in an outdoor park so we dont know who to contact...we're waiting for a call back from the rural municipality). I have pages and pages of DIY stuff I'm itching to get started on !! So pumped!
Happy negative one anniversary June 25, 2011 brides!!! haha....I told my fiance last night that today is our negative one anniversary! He did laugh at me, but the first text message he sent me this morning was "Happy negative one" haha. So cute!

@BlondeBride25: I don't have my dress yet, but I'm thinking that I need to get it ordered by the end of the year! I want to avoid any hiccups between ordering, alterations, etc. 6 months should be a good time frame.

my fiance proposed on september 20, 2010, and we have set a date for june 25,2011( beach wedding). its also two weeks after my 25th birthday. I think june is a beautiful month to get married in, everything is blossoming and gorgeous.

And have got the materials to make our invites. I did buy a veil but it's not long enough at all, so will have to try again!

I was originally getting married Sept 18 2010 but due to MANY factors we postponed til June 25th 2011. Looking forward to knowing you ladies. Im an encore bride, this is his first marriage:)
This is my date, too! I'm so excited. I haven't got a dress yet, but we have a venue, florist, and caterer!

YEAYYY for June 25 brides!!! It almost feels like finding people with same birthday as you! Lol! I am so happy for all you other Bees, and cannot wait for the wedding day! I must admit that planning is getting a little hellacious, even though there are still more than 100 days left! My fiance and I are both in higher education, so June was the perfect month for us given that that is when students are on vacation, as well as most faculty! It turned out that was also one of, if not the most popular wedding month!
So far, we have all the major vendors secured, and just hired a set of day of coordinators to help us keep everything organized and keep me from losing my mind. Lol :-)

Wow so many people getting married on the same day I am! So exciting i only just got engaged last month but already booked photographer, minister, caterers, both ceremony and reception venue, my invitations are on its way, cake and food sorted, decorations planned and wedding party organized. My wedding song is written and sung from a friend. Thanks to the support of my church family entertainment also organized all i need now...is my dress lol four months to go so how hard could it be right? Fingers crossed
I am also a June 25 2011 bride!!!! I can't believe it's only 4 months away!!!!
We have all the big stuff planned: the venue & reception, the officiant, dress, food, guest list, bridal party, DJ, etc!!! But there are just so many small things to accomplish!!!
Yay for 6/25 brides!! I just stumbled upon this thread tonight and am so excited to find other brides getting married the same day.
We're having an intimate ceremony and a dinner with close family and friends on the 25th, then will be having a large, casual party later in the summer. I feel so lucky that we're able to do both the things we want!
I'm looking forward to hearing about how everyone's plans are coming!

We decided to forgo our original idea of a lavish wedding, and go for a much more laid back and casual affair (which better represents our personalities), so we're having it cookout style in my aunt's backyard! I'm so excited to commit my life to my soulmate and best friend, and then party the night away with friends and family. =)

Hello to all,
I am another June 25, 2011 Bride
We got engaged July 19, 2009 and I always told him that whenever I did get engaged, I would like to be engaged for at least a whole year to plan so that things wouldn't be so stressful.
So far we have set our budget, made a binder to keep everything organized, found a wedding planner to keep me sane ( my aunt), hired a caterer (my step mom), reserved the ceremony and reception venues, found a photographer (one of my fiance's friends), and that's about it....I think!!!
My favorite color is green so I would like to stick with a shade of green. We are leanding towards off white, lemongrass, and black. I love the black and white damask print so I am obsessed with that right now.
As far is bridesmaids dresses...I have no clue
My dress...I know the style I want and I seen a dress that I really love, but I just have to find it close to where I live. The closest they have it is Texas so I might have to take a trip there (only 4 hours away)
Some say its too early to be planning, but I think time is flying by!!!
