yay! that's my date too :)
We have our ceremony and reception sites booked. We are very close to booking our photographer (will do so within the next week or so) and then next up is the officiant.
I have gone dress shopping a couple of times, but haven't found the dress yet, but I am in no big rush.
it seems like so far away, but I am sure it will come up faster than I expect.
Sweet more June 4th brides coming on board.
Were already married but renewing our vows and having a little get together after (something we never did)!
I am also a 6.4.11 bride!
So far we have our reception booked and hotel rooms blocked. We are doing a destination wedding, so I felt these two things were top priority. We are working on the ceremony site now.
Good luck to you all and happy planning!

Hey June! Sorry I just saw this! I'm getting married in my home church, Sardinia Presbyterian Church, in Sardinia,SC. I'm from a small community in the Pee Dee region (about 1.5 hours from Charleston, 1 hr from Columbia, and 1 hr from the beach) The reception is at a Springfield Plantation in Kingstree,SC (about 20 miles away from my church, and it's my FI's home town)
Another 6/4/11 bride here! While it feels like we've crossed off a lot of BIG items off our to-do list, I know the details are gonna get us.
The only thing I'm dragging my feet on is choosing/interviewing officiants. I just can't get excited about them.

yay 7 months to go!!! I am so excited that time is passing quickly! (I have been engaged since Sept 2009)
This month the things I am looking forward to checking off my list:
- finish DIY hair flower and pearl necklace
- order veil (from etsy)
- play with invitation set up/design
- book transportation
- start researching places for rehearsal dinner
I am sure there is more, but those are just off the top of my head.
I am also getting married June 4th, 2011! Ours is a second marriage for both of us after having both been in long marriages before and finding ourselves suddenly single a few years back. We went to high school together and met up this past summer of 2010 and since we are in our mid 50's we aren't having a long engagement or a big elaborate wedding. We are getting married here at our house in the backyard or large covered patio in case of rain. Any suggestions are welcome, as we have planned nothing so far. I have 8 weeks to find a Minister or Judge to come and perform the ceremony, and find a nice summery dress. And yes, this Grandma is so excited, and happy and feeling like a young girl that I want to wear a knee length white dress, that is fun and flowy. I haven't been able to find one so far at all the local places - Penneys, Kohls, Macys etc.
Our guests will think they are coming over for a backyard bbq, and will find out shortly after everyone arrives that a wedding is going to take place. If we are lucky maybe 20-25 people will show up. I was thinking I would ask the ladies to all be my maids of honor, with my daughter being the last one to walk in front of me, and my son to walk me to my groom. My kids are 29 and 33. I think I will clue in my kids before the big day. lol. They are excited for me, but I know my daughter will want to not be in her bbq clothes. We have 3 grandsons total- ages 3, 1, and 8 months (in June) what part can they play if any?
I am SO excited !!
