For a quick fix wear a corset or a stomach shaper to hold it in. This will create an illusion for flatter stomach

There is no good way to spot train.  Just up the cardio, maybe add some high intensity interval training, drink lots of water, and limit carbs and sugars.  And maybe a pair of really good spanx!  I wore them, and while it was a nice benefit for the tummy shaper, it was also super nice to have something on my thighs- it gets sweaty under the dress and my thighs were chafe free! (TMI maybe, but I’m just sayin…)

Try a barre class. I started going to Pure barre in April, I went 3-5 times a week. My belly always sticks out no matter how skinny I get – I cannot believe how much flatter it looks. If you start now, you will look amazing by your wedding day! (Plus it shapes your butt, legs, and arms!)

Do you do ab exercises? They can do WONDERS for tightening up a stomach without having to lose weight. It’s Mother Nature’s Spanx.

Get a medicine ball, 10lbs or so. Do crunches holding it, sitting exercises where you lift it over your head and on either side, pass it around your body. 10 minutes (strenuous minutes!) in the morning, 10 minutes at night should tighten things up considerably before June 7!

eh i’m kind of anti-crunches (which some PP’s suggested). you might build muscle in the ab region, but they won’t do anything to burn fat. plus, most women naturally have some fat around their lower abs. :/  i suggest spanx! and eat as clean as possible for the couple weeks before the wedding- i always feel great just from losing the bit of water weight when i eat below deficit and really healthy foods. 🙂

CMichelle8388:  Look into the keto diet. It goes against everything we are trained to know about eating healthy but it will seriously cut out the bloat and burn fat quite fast. If you quit, it does pack on the pounds again BUT for what you need it for it should help at least temporarily

CMichelle8388:

I think the best thing I did when I was in your same situation a few months ago is just accept it.  I stressed out so much over a few pounds (even cried) which made me gain even more, about 15 lbs.  Your wedding is coming up soon and you should be enjoying the final stretch.  I actually started losing weight when I stopped stressing about it, but that is beside the point.  I guarantee your guests and fiancé probably won’t even notice if you lost or gained, so might as well just live it up these next few weeks!  Good luck!

LDMTNBRIDE:  +1, this exactly.

CMichelle8388:  I hate to tell you this, but there is no healthy way to shed pounds quickly. All you’re doing is stressing yourself out. The sooner you accept that your weight now will be your weight at your wedding (and that that’s OKAY), the happier you’ll be. I swear it. Just buy some Spanx and enjoy your life.
