My wedding is June 8. Thankfully, we have a family friend who owns a printing company and will be doing our invitations for free. My FI is currently away on a business trip, but when he gets back we'll be sending the invites to the printer.
Just wondering. . . WHEN are you sending out your invitations? And when are you asking for an RSVP by?
Mine is June 15. I'm asking for RSVP by May 15. I'm sending out the invites early by most standards, hopefully out by March 1 but this is because our venue is a mini destination with everyone either camping or booking a motel/cabin on the property and we have exclusive booking from April 1 to 15 , cabins and motel rooms are very limited and I want people to have time to decide and get them before the general public.
June 15 here. Sending them late March/early April. RSVP by May 10th.
We sent STD's so people know the drill.
We are sending ours out at the beginning of March! We have an extensive B list, so we need to extra time to accommodate a second round of invites.
@phillybride61513: We sent Save the Date's out, too, but you don't know how many people have asked "when is your wedding again?" to which I respond "I sent you a STD!"

I have my invitations ready and waiting to go, just waiting for the right time to send them. The RSVPs ask for a response by May 21st but since there are some B list people I'd love to invite, maybe I'll send out invitations in early March instead of early April.
Mine is June 16th, I have to pay the caterer and venue in full by one month before the wedding date, so my RSVP is May 3rd! I am sending the invites out at the beginning/middle of april!
@cali_cat: I'm assuming a B List is an extra list of people in case you don't get enough "yes's" from the A List? I just have one giant list, so hearing of a B List is new to me!
Tomorrow...RSVP date is March 15th. We planned to get them out on the 15th but they got caught up with the calligrapher.
I believe I'll send my invitations at the end of March.

@madteaparty: Yep! We have a max of 150 people allowed at our venue, and about 200 people we would like to invite! We know a few will be unable to attend, so as they RSVP we can send out the others. I don't want to risk over inviting as I have heard horror stories of having to un-invite people!
My wedding is June 9th. I guess I am going against the norm, but I am planning on sending mine out within a week! About half of our guest list is out of town guests, so it seems reasonable to me. We did send out STDs, but I swear, people don't pay attention to those. Anyways, I don't see the harm in sending them out a little early. People book up quick in the summer, and my family and friends seem to appreciate much advanced notice. Plus, my fiance and I are both graduating in May, so we want to plan ahead as much as possible. We put our RSVP for May 1st.
@madteaparty: YES! I think people threw ours away, personally. But maybe was actually useful for some people, atleast I hope.
I'm June 1 and sent invites out this week!! We have 2 RSVP dates because I would Like to get some of the RSVPs back earlier rather than later. I need to know how many people from the secondary list we can invite. We have an RSVP date of April 1 and May 1. Most of the April 1 RSVPs went to close friends and family.
I sent my save the dates out back in November, invitations will go out April 1st, rsvp's due June 8th and wedding is June 29th :)
I'm ordering mine this weekend as soon as they come in I'm sending them out. people are getting antsy And keep asking me details! Hopefully I can shut them up as soon as they receive the invites:)
A lot of our guests are local and family so we handed them out at Christmas at family parties which saved us postage :) Our RSVP date is April 12th.
Also, we didn't do save the dates, so we wanted to make sure that the ones that lived far had enough time to plan :)
@madteaparty: This has happened to me! Ours was a magnet too so easily placed on the fridge. I usually repsond jokily that it should be on the fridge! :)
Wedding date is June 29th. I'm hoping to send invites out the last few days of March/irst few days of April. I'm asking for RSVPs by May 25th.

My wedding is June 8 too! We are sending ours out in the beginning of March with a response requested by May 15. We are sending ours out pretty early because there are a lot of out-of-towners and we also have a "B list" that we would love to invite if we get some unexpected declines during the first round.
June 15th -- sending them out on Monday after I confirm a few addresses.
LOL - I would love to send mine out as early as some of you but my mother is dragging her feet on finalizing the guest list. There are people in our family that I don't particularly want to invite but she is worried about the repercussions of not inviting them. Thank you for reminding me to keep nagging her this week about getting it done!!

You guys seem ahead of the game-I am not meeting with my invitation lady until Saturday March 9th to finalize everything, I am aiming to send out invites May 1st, and ask for RSVPs June 1st. I did send out STD magnets in January, and mostly everyone is local, but I am getting antsy to send them out! Cant wait! :)
I'm supposed to be receiving them in the mail tomorrow. I HOPE to have them assembled and addressed by the end of March - and then off they go early to mid April. I'm aiming for the 8 week mark. RSVP is by June 1st!

sent mine yesterday. I know its early, but they were sitting on my kitchen table all ready to go and I just wanted to SEND them!
Plus, we will be moving one month before the wedding (we dont know where yet) so I had to put hte RSVP date 6 weeks before the wedding so we could get them all back (plus the late stragglers) before our return address isnt our address anymore!
Cant wait to start getting responses back!

We are having a destination wedding so we're sending our invites out early. We're mailing them by March 15th and asking for RSVP by the end of April. We want to get a firm rsvp count as soon as possible.

My date is june 1st, I really wanted to send them out by march 8th, but my MOH wants to help address them, and i won't see her until the 15th!
so i will be mailing them out march 18th, with an RSVP date of may 6th!
@mrsrecon: That's a good timeline, no worries!! Sometimes with too much time people put it off and end up losing the invites and not responding.
I just purchased STDs 5 minutes ago for Jun 15th. Now I feel a lil sick about spending the money since 1) seems no one pays attention and 2) it looks like everyone is sending invitations by the time my STD arrive at my house. Uggghhhhh.....

I just sent a tester invitation to my sister to see if it arrives in decent shape, and also to see if the RSVP envelope makes it back! I think the address can be hard to see so I'm crossing my fingers. If all goes well I think I'll send out invitations in about a week or two since I can't wait to have people see them :)
