Yay for June brides! You are 4 months out...yay! I can't wait until Feb. 26 to say the same thing!!
I am mailing my invites 2 months in advance, and my RSVP deadline is a month from our wedding date.
I'm also having my first fitting in a few weeks, but the ONLY reason I am doing it this early is because I am not planning on losing much weight and the seamstresses are most busy in March/April. I think you should definitely schedule your first fitting for March!

If your DIYing I would totally start making them ASAP. I am DIYing mine and am already almost done. It takes longer then you think! Especially buying paper waiting for it to be shipped etc. Good luck!

I had my invitations done by a designer on Etsy. They're sitting in a box, ready to be addressed and mailed off (so exciting!). I plan to mail them out at the end of March/beginning of April.
I went to my first dress fitting on Friday because the lady I went to has a very busy schedule and tends to book up way in advance. My second and last fitting will be about 2-3 weeks before the wedding.
We're DIY-ing our invites too... I've ordered / bought all of the materials, but we're waiting until the second week of March (Spring break) to make them. We're only doing about 40, so hopefully it will be OK. We'll probably send them out right away too, as we didn't do STDs and lots of people will have to travel.

we are also DIY'ing our invites. Since we are having a DW, we will be mailing them out at the end of this month!
I am diying mine too....and they are almost completed. Since I had all the supplies and had the time I figured it was just better to have them done than rush to do them later. One thing less on my to do list too!
I purchased our invites. I'm currently addressing as many of them as I can to save some time. I plan on sending them out at the 2 month mark (April).... which is two months from now, yikes!!

ok so it is already february and i feel at a loss. i mean i have been a mad wedding planner up til the past couple of weeks. I feel like i should wait to start things...like it is too early..am i wrong? :D
When are you sending out your invites? I am DIY invites, trying to figure out when to start making them
Also, when are you getting your alternations/fittings for your dress. My place said they need atleast 6 weeks prior to the wedding. should i wait as long as i can or go asap?! I am in the process of lossing weight so i am nervous about fittings.
