We've been getting so many BFPs lately that will result in little Junebugs! I thought it would be fun to start a thread of all of the Bees that will be having Junebugs.

    Date of BFP:

    How far along are you?

    Estimated due date:

    Date of first prenatal appointment:

    How are you feeling?

    Who have you told?

Congrats & Sticky Baby Dust to everyone!

    Date of BFP: 10-10-11

How far along are you? 4 weeks 6 days

Estimated due date: June 8 (FF) or June 14 (the bump)

Date of first prenatal appointment: November 10, I'm so excited to find out my real DD!

How are you feeling? I've been STARVING this week! I've taken to eating every 2-3 hours and feel like I'll gain 20 pounds in my first trimester. Other than that I've been very bloated & just plain exhausted.

Who have you told? Obviously DH but then we told our friends that were in town 2 hrs after my BFP. We've told DH's parents and will tell mine tomorrow.

I've seen so many lately on here and IRL - so crazy! Congrats to everyone!

    Date of BFP: 10-6-11

How far along are you? Probably around 3-4 weeks. I'm not sure yet.

Estimated due date: From when I got my last period, June 9th was the online calculation.

Date of first prenatal appointment: I'm actually calling tomorrow to set it - this week has kind of been unreal. I've been taking a HPT everyday to make sure I'm not going crazy and seeing things.

How are you feeling? A little crampy, my boobs were SO sore all last week. Other than that, just excited and somewhat sleepy. I've been trying to get healthier by drinking more water, daily 4 mile walks and I just bought all my prenatal vitamin's last weekend.

Who have you told? Just DH and my 3 sisters. I'll wait until I'm 8 weeks to tell our parents and 12 weeks to tell the rest.

How far along are you? 4 weeks

    Estimated due date: June 19

Date of first prenatal appointment: Haven't scheduled it yet

How are you feeling? Fine really.  Just noticing I am tired and hungry more often.

Who have you told? Just DH.  We won't tell anyone else until after our first appointment.

    Yay for Junebugs!  Laughing

    Date of BFP: 10/5/11

How far along are you?  5 weeks

Estimated due date:  June 14, 2012

Date of first prenatal appointment:  Prenatal nurse visit is tomorrow

How are you feeling?  Pretty good!  I've had a few waves of slight nausea, but no biggie.  Also feeling some sensations in my pelvic area (not pain or cramps exactly, I just feel like things are changing down there), and slight low back ache.

Who have you told?  So far just DH and I know... we're waiting a while before we tell our immediate family (probably after the 1st OB appt/sonogram).   We want to wait till 12-13 weeks to tell everyone else.  :)

So excited to be a part of the Junebugs thread!  There have been a LOT of BFPs lately and it's so exciting to see!

    Date of BFP:   10/13/11

How far along are you?  Exactly 4 weeks

Estimated due date:    June 20, 2012

Date of first prenatal appointment:   No appt scheduled yet - DH and I are moving to a new city next weekend so I'll probably wait until we get there to find a doctor and schedule an appointment.

How are you feeling?   Great right now!  No fatigue or exhaustion, which is nice, but I do have incredibly sore boobs - like it hurts to walk around, and they're not that big - and I also have random little cramps here and there.  Not what I would call painful, more like twinges and a bit of stretching.

Who have you told?   I will officially claim the title of Worst Secret Keeper In the World now.  Aside from DH, I called my best friend back in the States and told her, and my closest friend here who is 16 weeks pregnant herself, DH's brother, and my sister and her husband.  I'm going to try really, really hard to keep it from my parents until American Thanksgiving at which point I'll be ten weeks and hopefully will have had an ultrasound so I can send them a picture.

Ooooh look at all the little Junebugs! So excited to be here.

    Date of BFP:   10/10/11

How far along are you?   4 weeks and 1 day

Estimated due date:    June 20, 2012

Date of first prenatal appointment:   My first appointment is tomorrow! I'm so excited to go, I can hardly wait. I usually hate the prospect of someone taking my blood but this time I don't mind. I just feel like it will be more 'official' once I have seen a doctor.

How are you feeling?   I feel really good at the moment. I'm sleeping a bit restlessly I am fatigued but it isn't awful. I am thirsty all teh time and extremely bloated and gassy! Zero soreness in my boobs which was making me anxious, but I'm already starting to break out on my face and on my chest (I never get spots) so that is fairly reassuring.

Who have you told?   DH & I both picked one best friend we were allowed to tell. We also told his brother & partner because we are neighbours. We are waiting to tell everyone else until things are a bit further along but my goodness, it is sooooooo hard to keep my mouth shut!

@sarahlyn2626:  I'm incredibly nervous and filled with anxiety.  I'm worried about whether or not this is really real - I took another HPT today and was so happy to see that line get darker.  I'm worried about whether or not this is going to stick - I had a m/c last year at 5 weeks.  I'm worried about whether or not I'm ready to be a mum - I know I am but it's still a bit scary thinking that my life is going to change massively and forever!  And I'm worried about pregnancy in general - am I going to be sick?  Will I have an easy pregnancy?  What is labour going to be like?

Yeah, you could say I'm nervous about quite a few things....but overall, still really happy and excited that we're expecting our first child!  Laughing

@Ree723: Good!  Glad what I am feeling is somewhat normal!  I wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy! I often think of taking another test but I keep telling myself that everything is fine.  I am a natural worrier :)

@sarahlyn2626:  I feel nervous too!  I've been POAS almost every day since getting my BFP and official blood test results (DH thinks I'm nuts).   I'm worried about so many things... I have to tell myself to calm down and that everything will be ok.  I think it's only natural to have worrisome/nervous thoughts and feelings, especially this early on.  Don't worry, we're all in the same boat.  :)

@sarahlyn2626: I'm so nervous and this is my second. The first was a breeze (kind of) as in labor and delivery were easy, I got the hang of breast feeding, nothing was too expensive to handle...

But I do know what kind of challenges I'm up against now, how tired I'll be, what type of pain I'll be in after giving birth, etc. Even though I thought I was more than ready for the second child, I'm still a little scared!

How far along are you? 6 weeks 2 days :)

    Estimated due date: June 6

Date of first prenatal appointment: Yesterday! It went GREAT! They did bloodwork, took a urine sample, did a pelvic exam, etc. and my dr has me scheduled for this Tuesday for my first u/s! She said she knows what it's like to be a first time mom and to be nervous and so she got me in a.s.a.p. :D I'm SO excited!!!

How are you feeling? I eat more frequently, like a pp said, restless sleep which just adds to the fatigue (and my attitude, haha!). I'm CONSTANTLY drinking water. If I go 30 minutes without a drink I feel like I'm in a desert dying. Just a little cramping here and there, but as long as there is no spotting the dr said not to worry. It's weird now "normal" I feel!

Who have you told? We're BAD secret keepers, but people also knew we were trying and if I don't have a glass of wine in my hand they get suspicious, haha! Our parents, my two best friends who are pg and due this Jan/Feb and DH's best friend who he and his girl are due in March. We'll wait to make it "public" until closer to Thanksgiving.

Estimated due date: From what I calculated June 20th

Date of first prenatal appointment: Don't have one yet, waiting to hear back from my Midwife.

How are you feeling? Decent... I have to pee all the time, sore boobies and I am pretty tired. Slightly nauseated but mostly in the middle of the night :( But other than that I am just excited :)

Who have you told? Husband and I have told our close friends and I told my mom, sister and one of my grandmas. I am not sure how to go about telling my dad... lol

So, I told my mom that I am preggo and she was trying to say that I am popping them out like candy and I should have waited longer... I have 1 little girl and she will be 3 1/2 by the time baby comes and my older sister was still 2 when I was born... so I told her to hush her mouth and called her a pez dispenser lol (jokingly of course)

@cyndistar3: HAHAHA!!! That. Is. Hilarious. :) My mom wanted to tell EVERYONE immediately.

SO tonight is the first time I've felt queasy and seriously--it SUCKS. :( DH's mom had her morning sickness in the evenings as well and I'm NOT looking forward to this, I'm NOT going to be cooking, I already warned DH that he's in charge of that while I'm sick.

@cyndistar3: My grandma is that way. I'm DREADING telling her. She's the same woman who sent me a 2 page email (with citations and all) about why we shouldn't live on the other side of the highway, our children could get cancer or have birth defects (and she doesn't even know yet!). All of the studies were from HUGE cities, we live in a tiny town and the highway has NEVER had real traffic haha!

Tonight was the first night, I'm not looking forward to it. My dorko DH friggin HIGH-FIVED me when I told him I was feeling sick. When I said "Uh, screw you." He was like "But you read to me in the book that it means the baby is doing well! Duh!" How can you argue with that logic? ;) My biggest meal is usually dinner so I'm going to have to get my nutrients during other times of the day for a while, haha!

It's just so crazy. We're PREGNANT. For reals yo. We're all pregnant! :D

This morning was the closest I've come to feeling like I was going to throw up. I'm totally in the pattern of eating every 2-3 hours. If I don't I get so nauseous that it lasts for a half hour after I've eaten. I feel like such a fatty mcfatterson eating 7 times a day.

Other than that I'm just extremely exhausted. I'm so looking forward to the second trimester!

    @KansasPrincess11: HAHA a high-five to morning sickness!?!

@Cole B: I'm feeling fat too. I've been grazing constantly.

Also, I cannot choke down giant prenatal vitamin's for the life of me. They make sick. I found gummy prenatal's today!! I bought them and I'm looking up to see if they measure up to the normal amount of vitamin's a pregnant body needs...I really hope so!

    @Heatherloveskenny: YES! A friggin high-five! :P

For what it's worth, my Dr. said that she's had women who struggle with prenatals and she suggests to take two Flintstones at a time, she said since they're kids vitamins they have a lot of the nutrients that the baby will need. Your Dr might say something different, she did say prenatals are the best but the 2 Flintstones are better than nothing. :)

@cyndistar3: Ah yes, the age old "Why would you bring a child into this world?" question. That might be my favorite. ;)

Im a June baby (June 4) so it's neat to think my baby will be too!

    Date of BFP: Oct 7

How far along are you? 7 weeks

Estimated due date: June 1 - I hope the date doesnt move up, I like June...and this thread! I got the date using my LMP date of Aug 26...Im still waiting to see an obgyn.

Date of first prenatal appointment: I was just at my walk in doctors on Friday and got blood work done. She took my list of 3 obgyn's and will have me an appointment within a couple weeks.

How are you feeling? I dont want to jinx it, but I have felt so much better these last few days.

Who have you told? My parents, DH's parents, My sister, DH's best friend and my 2 best friends. They all know its super early but I was feeling so terrible during (Canadian) Thanksgiving and passed on the wine...it was kind of obvious.

    @mrsjets:  Congrats and welcome!

Is anyone else finding themselves not really having much of an appetite?  I don't really feel nauseous but food just doesn't sound good and I really struggle to make myself eat.  When I do eat, I get to a point really abruptly where I know if I finish chewing the moutful of food I have, I am going to feel incredibly ill.   I'm a bit worried that I'm not getting enough food in me and this is such a critical time of development for the baby!

Also, how is everyone going with the cramps?  Mine picked up in intensity a couple of days ago and I had a few episodes where it was actually quite painful, but that passed fairly quickly and I'm now back to occasional minor cramps.  I hope they go away completely soon - they make me so nervous!  I'm 4w5d and have an appt with my GP tomorrow just to discuss what to do next.

@Ree723: My appetite is off and on.  Sometimes I am super hungry and other times not so much.  No morning sickness yet thankfully but I am only 5 weeks.  I have still had the light cramps off and on since finding out I was pregnant.  I look at them as making room for baby instead of possible MC,

I agree, my appetite is off and on too, it's mainly the things that I eat that change it. Chicken and scrambled eggs are O-U-T. DH and I will be having a lot of beef in the coming weeks/months, haha!

I started sucking on lifesaver peppermints, it honestly helps the nausea!

Thanks ladies, I'm glad I'm not the only one who is having appetite issues.  I know I need to eat more as I feel as though I'm starving my poor baby, but I just can't force myself to actually consume more than a few bitefuls of food at a time.  Sigh, I've already lost 2 lbs since my BFP last Thursday, which I know is not good.   I've got a doctor's appt this morning so hopefully I can discuss with him and figure out what I can do to eat more, or if this is normal and not something to worry about.

Oh and on the cramping front - I had the worst cramping episode yet yesterday evening.  It was like a wave of cramps that hit peaks and lows and occurred over a period of 15 minutes.  The first ten minutes were the most intense and then they started ebbing away for the last five minutes.  It was really painful but more than anything, really scared me!  Yet another thing to discuss with my doctor this morning.

@Ree723: I honestly don't think it's super uncommon to lose a little weight early on, I think a LOT of it has to do with the fact that we often eat better once we find out (at least I have been!) and there's more stress, etc., etc., so don't feel too bad about losing weight. I on the other hand am getting FAAAAAAAAAAAAT haha! :P I was running 5-10 miles/week and refuse to do that now because I'm paranoid (even though I know tehnically it's okay to do anything you had done before!).

@Ree723: Oy, the cramps weren't good today. Kind of had me worried. I'm with you on not wanting to eat. Nothing tastes or looks good. The sight of lunch meat makes me want to throw up...I had to run out of the room while DH was making his sandwich so I wouldnt't lose it. Oh as far as losing weight, I have had many friends lose over 5 pounds during the first trimester, whether they were sick all the time or just could not eat but most of them made up for it in the 2nd trimester. I think it's normal!

I think I'm further along than I mentioned above, maybe 7 weeks? My appt. is set in 2 weeks so we'll see what the Dr. says.

@KansasPrincess11: I've stopped running too to be on the safe side...I know it's "safe" to run but I really don't want to chance anything. I walk instead of running (I guess I can't run my half marathon in January haha...even though there was that thread about some lady running a FULL marathon when she was full term)

Yup, plus in my case, all the lack of delicious wine and beer is definitely helping the weight situation. I am however negating it by drinking hot chocolate:)

@Heatherloveskenny: Yeah, I saw that! My doctor even said "Look, you can run, just don't be stupid like that one lady" and I knew exactly who she was talking about, haha! My heart rate is just naturally kind of high when I run (it looks like I'm dying, see image below haha!) so I decided it's just best not to chance it.

@plantains: SERIOUSLY! Cutting my wine intake alone would make me lose weight, hahahaha!!!

SO my first u/s is at 2pm (YAAAAY!) but you have to drink 32 oz of water in 1/2 hour BEFORE your u/s and not pee until after. FML. My bladder is lovingly referred to as the lima bean in our house...
