Can someone fill me in on what she does? is she a bridemaid just smaller?lol
My SO has 4 groomsmen and I have 2 bridesmaid and a jr.
does she walk down the aisle with one of the groomsmen? I feel like the height difference will be awkward.
She’s 10, can she still be a flower girl? I was thinking she could walk down solo and pull my son in a wagon (hes 5 months old) ?? or should my brother do that whose 8?

Oh I think she could totally be a flower girl, that’s not too old. It would be really cute to have her pull your son in a wagon! But would that leave out your brother?
If you want to involve both kids, have the 10-year-old be a junior bridesmaid – and have her walk down the aisle with one of the groomsmen. It actually sounds like it would be really cute! And have your brother pull your son in a wagon.

do you think it looks weird for a 30 year old to walk down the eisle with a 10 year old
also the height difference 4’6 with 6’2 or taller?

My jr bridesmaid is 13 and I’m treating her like all the other girls except she has a different dress (my mom didn’t want her young niece wearing a strapless dress).
For the processional, the guys will all come out up front with my FH, so all bridesmaids are walking down themselves. In the recessional, the Jr Bridesmaid or Best Man will walk out with the two ring bearers (aka ring security) who are 11 and 8.
The great thing is, it’s your wedding, so you can do anything you want!

I like your idea.
This will also distract from ppl noticing my SO has more friends than me lol

I’m having a jr Bridesmaid or Best Man, 4 flower girls, a Maid/Matron of Honor and 2 reg BMs. I say just treat the junior as you would a flower girl, without the flower petal dropping, she’s obviously too young to attend all Bridal Party functions, just make sure her dress is age appropriate.

My junior bridesmaid was my stepdaughter. She was ten so too old for flower girl and too young for full out bridesmaid. I gave her the responsibility of delivering letters between my Fiance and I, and she also carried the ring (she liked the idea, it’s obviously not for everyone).
Like another bee said, you can do whatever you want!

@kimberlyr22: I like this idea too

@cleblanc: We have messed up bridal party #s and ages…so this will distract from that a little…plus my bridesmaids were fighting over the cute, single groomsman, and they won’t know who gets to walk the recessional with him until the night of the rehearsal!
