hi! how old ae junior bridesmaids usually? i already have 1 MOH, 4 bridesmaids and it occured to me the other day that i would LOVE to have my two little cousins in the wedding. one is 15 and the other is 19, 20 by the wedding date next year. is 20 too old for junior bridesmaid status????
IMO, I think that 20 is too told to be one. You don't want your Jr. bridesmaid to be sneaking a beer at your reception. Better to have that done by a BM. ;) Would your dress them in different dresses?
I also think 20 is too old for a jr. bridesmaid. Instead of putting them in the wedding party, why don't you give them another job on the wedding day to make them feel included. They are both old enough to have a responsibility, so make them in charge of something in particular if you think they really want to be a part of it all (example: someone to man the guestbook and be sure the guests sign it)
Yes in a way I think it is! I am 26 and I have a cousin that is 18 I had her with the Junior Bridesmaids but her mother insisted that she be promoted. I understood what she was talking about so I did. I was glad that I did! Make both of them bridesmaids six isn't too many I have a 10BM..lol!
My junior bridesmaid is 11. I do think the 19,20 year old may be too old for junior and depends on the 15 year old how mature she is and what type of dress the bridesmaids are wearing.
