I’ve been having some weird PMS symptoms the last two months, basically last month around ovulation time I broke out around my chin/mouth and had two large cystic pimples that hurt horrible and went away maybe a week later. I was also very depressed/breasts hurt and all that lovely stuff during this time. Period came right on time like usual, usual bleeding, the only thing off was prior to that it hurt a bit when we would have sex certain ways on the right side of my abdomen. I also went to the gyno for my yearly check up and mentioned the pain and she checked me out and said I was fine and perhaps it was just scar tissue or something.
So this past month I have not gotten my period, but I believe I just ovulater this past week. Again, super moody with headaches, and I broke out on my chin with those awful cysts! They’re starting to go away again after a week of this. I went to a naturopath doctor I’ve been seeing for years (who straightened me out after going off the pill and my hormones were a mess) and he said I most likely had a cyst on right ovary, he gave me two supplements to take for two months and said it should straighten everything out. After googling things I’m hearing alot of times having cysts on your ovaries can means Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. I’m concerned it could be this, but I don’t have most of the symptoms. Besides the break outs the last two months around ovulation, I usually have very clear skin. I have 28-29 day cycles every months, I don’t have facial hair or hair falling out, and I’m actually underweight (5’6″ and 102lbs).
I’m wondering can anyone shed some light on this? Has anyone had just cysts and not been PCOS?
