Aw, that's lovely! I bet I will still be checking it out after my wedding, too :)
That was great - and is exactly how I feel. Sometimes it seems so cheesy but its true - it has been good hanging around here!
Thanks guys, it's just so nice to have a positive community to come to - and it's great to read about other people's success in marriage. Everytime I read a post about how in love someone is with the SO, it just gives me a little "ping!"...I love it - and it reminds me how much I love MY DH. We don't have any married friends at the moment [we just moved across the country from BC to Quebec 6 months ago, and are adjusting, to say the least!], so it's nice to see married people's perspective. Anyway, I just thought maybe I should say hi, and share some of the love!
Every once in a while I'll log in and comment or share my own experiences (such as tonight). But I'm mostly a lurker! Anyway... good post! I feel the same way! I didn't find the Bee until after I was engaged. I have a feeling I'll utilize the baby boards in the near future! :)
Welcome, fellow lurker!! I was starting to feel a bit weird about always reading and NEVER commenting, and since I really feel that this place is a source of positivity that helps me, I wanted to express that - so thanks again, 'BEE!!!! It's truly addictive - and much more healthy than my brownie addiction...hee hee!
That is exactly how I feel! I think you took the words right out of my mouth so, YAY!
I loved lurking around, but like commenting even more! It's always nice to see what other bees have to say!
Yay! Glad you found the 'bee, then! :) (Also: I'm still poking around here a year after the wedding, and so are a lot of us... you're in good company. ;)
I'm a bit of a lurker too... lol I just love this site for all the great ideas and support everyone has for each other!
Ha ha. I still lurk around, too -- especially the baby boards. I like to live vicariously through others, since I'd like to be preggers but need to finish my dissertation first. Blah.
Still here too! Love to all of the WB family!
You'll find, all the amazing crafty, cool, ideas all go hand in hand with your marriage! You'll throw parties, events, and suddenly there's all this style you've gotten and others will wonder where it came from.
Was it just good taste? Or did it happen by osmosis from looking, reading, and getting great ideas for soiress from Weddingbee?
It's our secret ;)

Hey ladies!
I am not a frequent commenter, but I am a huge lurker - I have been married since '09, and commented/posted a few times before my wedding in September of '09, and I WISH I'd found the 'Bee prior to 6 months before my wedding. I was immediatly struck by the different tone on this website, and after a huge flaming from the Knot, I was happy to find a safe haven. I fell in love with the site, the blogs and boards alike. The few times I needed advice and support, it was readily offered. We had an absolutely wonderful day, perfect for us, and I got quite a few ideas from here. After we got married, I found myself wanting to continue to follow the Bees that were getting married and see how it all turned out, and then of course, all the new generations came along, and I couldn't help myself!! And this is how you end up still checking Weddingbee every day almost 2 years after you get married!
Anyway, I find myself reading Weddingbee every day, and I just wanted to say thank you to this amazing community of women [and men] who celebrate love and marriage...maybe this is fantastically cheestastic, but honestly, reading these stories, both the good and the bad, remind me daily of how lucky I am to have found my amazing husband, and of how happy I am. This community is such a place of positivity and hopefulness, and I am very grateful. I just wanted to tell you all that. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to wean myself off the 'bee, and if that's wrong, I don't wanna be right!! Hope everyone is having a wonderful day...
