Doesn’t mean I want to wear orthopedic shoes for my wedding!
I am having the worst time finding wide (extra wide, who are we kidding…?) shoes to wear that aren’t flat or 1-2 inch heels. I tried on my dress and got it hemmed with a pair of heels I wore for a friend’s wedding – very uncomfortable shoes that happen to be 3.5 inch heels (the shoe is uncomfortable, not the height of the heel) so now I’m on the hunt for pretty shoes I’ll be able to wear all day that have a 3.5 inch heel! It’s proving to be a challenge. I’ve googled every combination of ‘wide wedding shoes’ ‘extra wide bridal shoes’ ‘extra wide high heels’ but still not finding anything that might work…
Does anyone in the hive know of a good place to get wide high heels? (ahem. extra wide…)

Well, I know it’s not exactly what your looking for – but if you can find a pair of high heels in leather you could get them expanded / blocked out in the width. Good luck!

I’ve bought cute wide shoes from Naturalizer but I don’t know if they have such height. I also remember Payless having a selection of wide heels but haven’t been there recently. I know from experience, sometimes you can find shoes that are more open and they are comfortable even though they are not wide or buy a half size bigger so there is more rom and use inserts in the heel. I’m not sure what you are looking for but I ordered leather Ninas similar to these: http://piperlime.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=19831&vid=1&pid=750371&scid=750371002 and they fit well in the width. I find a peep toe style works better than a band across the toes. Good luck, wide feet and heels are not friends.
