It’s great that you are meeting your photographer for coffee before hand. That should help a bit with your nerves. I am an extremely shy and awkward person at times, so I was super nervous for my shoot, but with a good photographer, you will end up with some great shots, and she will make you feel at ease! As for outfits, it sounds like you have a good start. Definitely bring a pair of sexy heels, maybe some jewellery.

I really want to do that but I know I’ll be so scared and nervous. I’ll probably go with a friend if I get to do it.

About jewerly — I remember I saw a picture I wanted to replicate. It was a girl on a sofa or something, and he had a bunch of pearls on. It covered part of her chest and it looked classy/artsy.

I did a Boudoir session for my FI this past Valentine’s Day. It was an awesome experience!

It is great that you are meeting your photographer before the actual session. This way you can get to know her and get a sense of how she works.

I was fortunate that my photographers were very experienced! I had not met them before having my session, but they made me feel very comfortable. It also helped that my best friend, who is also a makeup artist, came with me to help with makeup touches, hair and outfits. She also provided invaluable support as the session progressed.

The photographers(husband and wife) were able to guide me through different poses and even facial expressions. Hopefully your photographer can help with this as well.

The one tip I have for you during the actual shoot. Remember why you are there. Think about your man and why you love him so much. This will give you the most natural smile and even a soft glow! Goodluck and have fun!

Bring some liquid encouragement. I had a bottle of JD on hand. We ended up using the bottle as a prop, and they ended up being some of my favorite shots!

Any other props you can think of can be fun too. I used a flag of DH’s favorite band, as well as a cheap strand of “pearls” read: white plastic beads, and of course the JD.

Most importantly just have fun! It was such an enjoyable and empowering experience for me. I felt so confident and so sexy afterwards, it was great!

what about hats? jereseys? scarfs especailly for a holiday theme? or a santa hat if that isn’t too corny.

we used a tie- a sign that said love you more as our props.

@cirk:  out side shots are amazing if you have a place. we took a couple in my back yard and they are my favorite. I wish we’d had enough time to go out in the moutains like we’d planned on!

What about doing HIS clothes? I used his tie and if he has a button up shirt that can be super sexy!

if your doing bed shots- put your feet up on the wall up by the headboard and lay the rest of your body down- super sexy!
