I'm over the moon right now! About twice each year, J. Crew trucks a bunch of catalog merchandise up to Charlottesville (the headquarters is an hour from here) and they sell everything for super low prices.
The color I want for my bridesmaid dresses is from the summer season and they aren't showing it in the fall catalog. I figured they might have a bunch of the dresses I want at the sale.
I lined up with hundreds of people at 8 AM. When they opened the doors, everyone went to the shoes, but I went and found the dresses. They had two boxes of dresses in my color. I dumped them all and sorted through to find what I needed. I wasn't sure how much they were, but I thought a sign about silk tricotte dresses being $50 applied to the bridesmaid dresses (it was actually referencing the wedding gowns). The dresses were $30!!!
I'm so happy! I took a picture of the piece of paper when they tally your purchases because I was so excited.
They have these sales in a few different cities (mostly in Virginia and North Carolina). It's totally worth the trip if you can get to one!
