I’m having a civil ceremony at home before my big wedding. I want to find a nice, simple white dress for under $100 to wear to it, and for the after party at the big wedding. I have been looking for months for the right dress, and I just can’t find it. I’m running of time (civil ceremony is 1 month away) and I’ve just had it. I’m in between regular sizes and plus sizes and very pear shaped, so nothing looks right on me. And of course, it’s really hard to just find white dresses. I’ve scoured two different malls, and a million websites. Arrrrgggghhhhhh!!
This post was more to just vent, since I’m so frustrated. But if the bees can help point me in a different direction, that would be amazing. Any advice is appreciated!

Did you try the David’s Bridal online store? The have sale items and they have outlet items. I’ve seen some pretty cute tea length dresses you could probably get away with for under $100. = )
Also, Maybe http://www.Amazon.com Their one of my faveorite places to look!!!
Good luck in your search! I’m sorry you’re having a hard time.

Have you tried http://www.shopstyle.com? It’s pretty much my favorite website for finding something very specific.

Amanda: Ohhhhhhh Shopstyle! I haven’t seen this site before, but I have fallen in love! Brilliant!
Barista: I did take a whirl around DB’s site. Such cute dresses in my price range when I look, but they just tempt me because when I go to order it, they don’t have my size. The down side to shopping sales, I’ve learned over the past couple of months.
