Congrats! As far as a coordinator goes I highly recommend Lauren Paige Associates!!!! I think their website is just www.laurenpaigeassociates.com.
We are from the HV but having a destination wedding in Orlando. I had contacted them for some local vendor recommendations (I'm doing my hair & makeup trial local and taking pics and having someone down their re-create down in Orlando, engagement photos, etc). They saved me so much money & were beyond helpful! I know my mom is also working with them for my "surprise" shower.
FI and I are seriously thinking about hiring them to come down to Orlando and help with our wedding down there!!!! They are that fabulous and so far have been really afordable, although I don't know how much they are if I asked them to come to Orlando...I'd imagine a lot cause of travel...I'm scared to ask...and then at the same time if I do and they are booked for my date I may cry, LOL. Anyway, yeah, check them out. Good luck!

Hi all!
I'm engaged!!!! LOL. My name is Lisa and my fiance's name is Paul. We live in the Hudson Valley and are planning on getting married here too. We have yet to set a date or find a location. I think we will first be looking to hire a wedding coordinator. I love the idea of having someone who will help me from the beginning and organize all my vendors down to setting up day of and who can offer me advice as my ideas can easily get out of control. Can anyone recommend a planner/coordinator and about how much something like this runs?
