I'd love to get one of those! I was thinking about doing the same type of gifts too!
OMG those are adorable!!! I have about 500 shower hostesses...sigh.
that card is the funniest and cuter card i had ever seen... that was a great idea
I saw this idea a few weeks ago on another site, I love it, can't wait to do it too! yours came out great!
Aw, thanks ladies! These were not hard to make, but they were def a labor of love that took a long time to get together! I am also a giant bargain hunter so I have been shopping for all of the things I needed since the start of January!
KMSull- I don't have 500 hostesses, but I am having two showers with a total of 9 hostesses! I need to make 3 more baskets for my May shower!
I really like this idea.....but who exactly would I be making these for?? Anyone who is invited to my bridal shower?? And who do you really invite to a bridal shower?? Im all new to this- thanks girls!!
@becomingmrswoods- I gave these to the ladies who hosted and organized my bridal shower. Someone close to you, bridesmaids, mom, MIL, aunts etc will probably offer to throw you a bridal shower. It is nice to give a gift to whoever holds a bridal shower for you.
In terms of who to invite: You generally invite all women who are on your guest list. Sometimes a couple of bridal showers occur so there could be different invite schemes, like a bridal shower hosted by FI's aunt and people from his family and friends will be invited etc...
Also, because you are new to wedding planning, I will tell you what I think is most important to do first! I would immediately develop a detailed budget and figure out who is paying for what. I would also decide on a guest list developed by you and FI. You will want to discuss the guest list with your parents and future in laws as well. This is of course just my opinion, but getting those two things done at the start of our planning saved a lot of headaches! Good luck with planning!
@becomingmrswoods-That's great! I think it's so smart to get those things in place right away! Happy planning!

I made gifts for my bridesmaids, my mom and MIL who all organized and hosted my shower. I gave the gifts yesterday and everyone loved them!
I DIYed the entire project. I first bought items to put together shower baskets. The baskets had a bottle of body wash, antibacterial hand soap, loofa and candle in them.
The cards were the what brought the whole gift together (see below). I used a real shower curtain to make the cards. My one tip is don't buy a cheap shower liner for this project. I did that the first time around and it was impossible to cut the shower curtain nicely so I had to buy a more expensive shower liner.
I had a lot of fun with this this project! Lots of pictures below.
