I thought this would be fun. The consultant who helped me with my dress told me that she always tells the future brides who have dress confusion to pick out a wedding dress that matches the same style as their engagement ring. I think my ring and dress have the same style because they both have simple elegance with pronounced bling.:P Does your dress have the same style as your e-ring? Post pics! 
This is a pretty cool thread!!! I'm not sure if it has the same style of the dress (considering neither my e-ring or dress is REALLY MY style) lol
But, I love them both anyway! Bees, you be the judge!!!

i think that mine does, actually! they are both kinda different, and have cool shapes to them! the belt buckle on my dress matches the halo on my ring.
I love this post. My e-ring is a heirloom and I think it matches the vintage style of my tea-length dress. :)

i guess you say mine does because i have heart-shaped diamond and a sweetheart neckline! and they are both fun and different i think.

I love this thread! The rings do really match your gowns...it's so odd. I suppose my ring has super bling but is still traditional...so was my gown:)

I dont think mine really matches - i think my ring is a little more fancy than my dress!
Hmm I think mine match... They are both feminine and dainty! My hands are teeny tiny (they look like a 12 year old's in my opinion lol), so I wanted a ring that wouldn't overpower my hands. Same thing with my dress-- I'm barely 5 feet tall. I just love the embellishments/pearls and the bow :)

you can't really tell in this (bad) pic, but mine's a halo ring, i think it's vintage and romantic, just like my dress. that consultant is definitely right! i love seeing everyones combos!
I think mine go together very nicely, even though I didn't plan it that way :-)

Everyone's combos are so pretty together! It's crazy that most of the rings match the dresses that we picked out.

very fun topic.. I'm a solitaire, so I can sorta go with anything, but I loved seeing the different styles!
