I have had SOO many wedding dreams and i have no doubt that they will continue and become even stranger! I just had one the other night where i asked my mom to come do something wedding related with me (it was a week before my wedding) but she couldnt because she had to go have hemorrhoid surgery!!

A different dream where my dad didnt want to be father-of-the-bride anymore and asked me if he could be downgraded to an usher instead….uh, what?

I have had several dreams and they are all very vivid, but short. I have always had very vivid dreams…weird!

I’ve had a few but they mostly center around horrible planning, like it’s two weeks before the wedding and we haven’t booked a venue, bad.  They are horrible.  The most recent one however was that my mom convinced me to move it to noon and for some reason I didn’t even know my bridesmaids (and felt super bad that I couldn’t remember their names).  Also I had to yell at my guests like I do my 11th graders because they were talking during speeches.  Then my mom convinced us leave at 3 for some reason, so FI took me to my parents’ house and then went to his mom’s leaving me sitting on the couch in my wedding dress venting on the Bee.  It was WEIRD, and so real, freaked the poop out of me.

I’ve had soooooo many crazy wedding dreams but the most recent one was the night before I went dress shopping. I had a dream that FI saw me and my dress and ran the opposite way immediately LOL. Now that I’ve picked a dress he won’t be expecting, this is always at the back of my mind haha 🙁

Mine are funny/great task reminders! Money Mouth

Just this one so far:
I had forgotten to tell my venue coordinator how many people were coming, so in a moment of panic, I was like, “OH SH**! There’s going to be too much food!” (Oh horror, it would be either wasting so much food or having to pay extra to top up the buffet?!?)

And right after realizing about the food, “OH NO! Not enough hotel rooms for people to stay in.”

A few days after the dream, I got in touch with the venue coordinator. From previous email correspondences, it looked like we hadn’t contacted each other for months — well, there was a break from any major wedding plans since we lost my dad to heart attack. The dreams weren’t at all bad. It was the kicker I needed to remind myself that I can’t leave everything last minute.

Since the nightmares, I added more rooms to the block — so, in case people didn’t want to share rooms, everyone’s covered at preferred rates. Then, I started the DIY invitation process. 🙂

@kayjay612:  My mom and I have both been having terrible wedding dreams! My wedding dress is hanging in a closet at my moms house and she has been having nightmares that something is going to happen to it! Her most recent dream involved a pipe busting in the closet that the dress is in!

My dreams are a little crazier. Last night I dreamed that I was walking down the isle and my Fiance and his groomsmen were all wearing these super obnoxious plaid suits. It was terrible! (funny now but it felt so real in my dream!) and I keep having a reoccuring dream that I won’t be able to find my dress on the wedding day and that everytime I ask somebody they don’t seem to understand why it’s a big deal saying things like “Why  not wear what you have on?”. Weird, weird, weird dreams.

I’ve had them really bad lately where I wake up crying. They’re much funnier once you are fully awake and retelling them to people

The first: I dreamt that our groomsmen all showed up in tan pants and these burnt orange argyle sweater. I absolutely hate any shade of orange clothing and it was just disgusting. In that dream we had to get my flower girl a dress the day before the wedding and it was $240.00!!!! Terrible

The second: This one included in me showing up to the wedding in my fiances pair of sweats and a T-shirt with dinosaurs on it and everyone else was dressed so fancy. My pastor made me walk down the aisle like that and all the guests were gossiping in italian about my outfit. Then my pastor made us both sit on the stage cross legged like little kids while performing the ceremony, then refused to marry us because he thinks our unity cross is stupid.

These are so ridiculous! Im so glad I’m not the only one who suffers with these

I just had one last night!!!! It was the rehearsal…

I couldn’t get my headpiece on right (it kept slipping over my eyes and/or wouldn’t sit where it was supposed to sit, why I had it on at all I have no idea) and for whatever reason I was getting married in a large church (odd, FI and I are both atheists and having a non-religious ceremony and reception, especially since his family is 1/2 Jewish and 1/2 Protestant and mine is 1/2 Catholic and 1/2 *Evangelical* Christian).

I was also greeting my guests for the first time (who were all at the rehearsal) and my groom was talking to someone instead of practicing.  Very very strange.

@xoxo_712:  I keep having the same dream… I get married on a cruise ship and then I give birth…… I’m NOT pregnant,we are abstinent, and our wedding is not on a cruise and our honeymoon is camping. So…. What’s that all about? I’ve had it three times and it’s starting to freak me out 🙁

@kayjay612:  haha I’ve had similar ones – one where I forgot to invite people so no one knew that the wedding was happening, one where there was a bouncer who wouldn’t let any of my friends in (wtf?) another where the wedding was over and I either missed it or just couldn’t remember anything that happened. I haven’t had one in a while so I think I must be less stressed!

In my dream, it was the day before the wedding and I realized that I hadn’t lost enough weight to get back into my dress but that I also hadn’t bought a new dress, so my sister and I were running around trying to find a wedding dress that fit the day before the wedding. We found one, but it was horribly wrinkled. Better get on the treadmill!!!

i had a dream just the night before last that i caught FI making out with one of my bridesmaids in his groom suite. I woke up pissed all to hell and back at him and he was clueless about why i was mad! Luckily i realized it was a dream before i did any damage

OMG, where to begin! I’ve had so many bizarre wedding dreams.  In the most recent one, I was getting dressed at the church for our ceremony and my mom started pulling my wedding dress out of a duffel bag (!). After I put it on, I realized it was definitely not the dress I’d picked! My mom insisted there wasn’t enough time to argue and that I’d just have to wear that one, even through it was like four sizes too big. She said we could just clip it together in the back like at the bridal salon! I also realized I hadn’t put on my slip/crinoline and my mom said rather matter-of-factly, “Oh, I never ordered it for you.” Then I started panicking because the wedding shoes she pulled out of the duffel bag weren’t purple like what I’d bought. They were white.  She took them and said, “Oh, here. Let me clean them for you,” and proceeded — to my horror — to wash them in a toilet! I kid you not. Guys, some of the nonsensical dreams I have make me worry for my sanity. XD

My worst one, which is reoccuring goes along the same lines.  Somehow, my parents show up at where we are going on honeymoon.  I can’t remember what happens exactly, but I know I get seperated from my FI and I have to hang out with my parents trying to find him.

Having my parents on my actual honeymoon would be a real nightmare.

We go to the hall to start decorating a day before and the caterer starts coming out with all the food. People are showing up a day early in their gussied-up wedding attire and they’re all just sitting there staring at us while we are decorating, just waiting for the party to begin. No clue where that came from lol…
