I think on a smaller cruise ship that I rent out for ALL of our family and friends! Not sure where it would sail though, as my dream wedding would be 'at sea'.
Hawaii or Jamaica! We had a (semi) destination beach wedding at a very nice place, but if money were no object... I would go crazy with the tropical flowers too, like insane amounts of them :)
ETA: I looked into a Disney resort for our honeymoon (FL)- it was so EXPENSIVE!
I would rent out an Irish castle, like... the whole thing. No question.
My second choice would be Tuscany.
I would definitely have it in Scotland. That would be so amazing!
I was actually able to have my DW and actually did what @zippylef: said, in northern Irland though. no need to dream here.
Hawaii! Unfortunately for our current financial situation we're doing our DW in Cancun. But we're just as stoked and will definitely be hitting Hawaii for a renewal~
Hmm... Hawaii, Disney, Japan, Tahiti, an African safari, New Zealand, Ireland... I'm going to stop now lol
we did have a DW, a private tropical island in the south pacific but if i had to do it all again....
vegas baby, through a drive thru chapel with Elvis as the minister and all the vows will be lyrics from Elvis songs (will you be her teddy bear, do you promise to love her tender etc)
yeah, tacky is how i roll :)
@zippylef: I was going to say that too! I love Ireland and want to go with DH there sometime. Our hm was in Italy and there was this villa on Capri... I would have loved a wedding there! Or in some villa in the Tuscan hills... or a beach somewhere prettier than a Texas one.
Alaska! We are *hopefully* going there for our delayed HM later this year. It's just so gorgeous. Probably on a small yacht or something so our family could be there. *sigh*
Buzios, Brazil and we'd rent out a huge villa for all of our friends and family.
Scotland, England, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Austria... Definitely somewhere in Europe.
Le Bar-sur-Loup France. During the festival for Admiral François-Joseph de Grasse, that would be so freaking cool.
@tksjewelry: Ooo. Good choice. Provence is gorgeous. I've been to Grasse and Nice.
Sweden! Stockholm or some cabin in the woods. Probably the cabin. Superbly furnished in that amazing scandinavian style and modern technology hidden behind natural design. Sigh...
Either Norway near the fjords, Santorini, or a Scottish castle.
We plan on doing a vow renewal in Santorini. :)
My dream wedding would be in the redwoods in Northern California. I'm an absolute sucker for pics like these.

@thepainter: I was going to say that I couldn't think of any place that would mean more to me/us than where we did get married, but then I saw your pictures and I know DH would have loved getting married there and so would I.
That's not as much of a "destination" wedding as most for us, since we live within a few hours of many places like that and a lot of our friends/family live even closer, but still. That would be my answer as well!
I would rent the entire Chatsworth House in England. And I'd definitely dress/act like I was Lizzy Bennet the whole time.
Oh I thought of a better place, New Zeland where they built the set for the Shire... or where Edoras was, mostly because I am a nerd.
France. The cathedrals are beautiful. Alas, I'm not Catholic and none of my family could afford a flight...
Hehe love that lil ol' NZ is getting mentioned as a dream destination wedding location
On a mountaintop in New Zealand.

I am currently planning my elopement there. :)
@robotpolkadot: awesome!
Hmm..probably in St. Thomas, at Magen's Bay. Most beautiful beach I've ever seen!

No option for me - it would be Prince Edward Island in Canada, on the Northumberland Strait. My family is from there, and I was engaged there :)

If you could have a destination wedding anywhere in the world, with money being no object and you would be able to pay for all of your close family and friends to be there, where would you have it?!
This is for fun to dream a little dream. FI and I discussed a destination wedding to Disneyland for a long time, but realized it would be much too much $$ for us to spend (especially because we would want to pay for our groomsmen and bridesmaids trips and hotel rooms there). It added up before you knew it! Now we are getting married in his hometown, which I love!
If I could pick a destination anywehre in the world, I would say Italy becasue I have always wanted to go there and FI has Italian roots! Who's next?
