Dresses that look like satin nightgowns. They are very pretty, and my sister had one, but it’s just not my style. When I get married, I plan to have something with a lot of poof. haha

The A-line/ballgown hybrid cupcake dress with pickups.. cannot do it:

But I have no problems with poofy dresses in general, you take away the pickups and they are lovely!

Anything pouffy. A-line, ball gown, anything with pickups. Just not my style at all.

Mermaid style! I’m very pear-shaped. It’d be like “Here comes the thighs, all fat and wiiidddeee….”

Mermaid! I feel like people look like elvira. (No offense to people, I just don’t understand the trend and appeal.)

Definitely mermaid (would not suit my body type)..  and anything big and poofy that reminds me of a princess.  Both aren’t my type.  I tried them on to keep an open mind but didn’t suit me.

Ballgown. I love them, but when I put them on I look weird and I feel really huge. I don’t know what it is, since they are beautiful on other people.

here’s a comparison

Ballgown

Mermaid

ball gowns with tulle.  I think they are beautiful so I tried one on.  I looked like I should be in my big fat american gypsy wedding.  It did nothing for me.

I loved the look of this one…it was very “Carrie Bradshaw”-esque to me, but oh man, did it NOT work for me.  It made me look very wide.
