Darling Husband and I are starting to think about redecorating, and want to start with painting the living room as its a pretty bland colour….
Its basically white, and we have mostly black furniture… we liked it at first, but its been feeling rather cold lately.
What colour is your living room?

Grey — very bland!
And I have black furniture & black & white photos. I think it looks cool though!

Bland bland bland. We rent and its a darkish beige. However, when we buy (hopefully very soon) I will be painting something much prettier!

Mine is beige… it kind of looks like melted chocolate ice cream.

we live in a farm house with exposed beams and a built in brick fireplace.. we went sort of rustic with tans and browns… the wall paper looks like paint and it tan with tiny brown swirls- our furniture is browns with touches of tans and greens

Red! I know many people don’t like red walls, but my Darling Husband and I really do! It was already painted red by the previous owners and we never changed it. 🙂 What I do want for my future living room color is a pretty sage green.

Ughh, sort of a builder’s beige colour. Not that I don’t like it but I am a colour lover so hopefully sometime soon it will be a darker grayish blue colour with nice light furniture!!

Light yellow. It was that color when we moved in and I liked it way more than I would have thought.

We’re renting an apartment right now but in my house I have an accent wall of RED and pink on one side and taupe on the other side, so yeah, before i sell my house, I’m re-painting! We are thinking of paiting one wall a taupe color to match the desert feel of the decor (we have a gazelle skull with a fake snake around it. .. and a mexican type colored couch, wood furniture etc…)

@MissBoPeep: melted chocolate ice cream? I just looked in the freezer and it’s freakin’ bare! I WANT ICECREAM! WAAAAAA!!!

@happyface: My living room makes me hungry, the accent color is a rich chocolate brown, like the hot fudge that’s melting my chocolate ice cream.

ours is a green a mid green – not too dark, not too light

Apartment tan/beige. We have red furniture and other dark wood furniture, so it actually looks pretty good.
When we have our own place, we will go with a nice grey, I think.
