I am the wedding director for a florist, and today I wore skinny jeans, black flats, a black cowl neck sweater and a hot pink scarf :-)
I should add, I normally dress up a little more than that, but Monday's are slow and I am not feeling great!
I wore dark jeans with boots and a black wrap sweater over a purple cami. I work at a university doing research for a health and nutrition program.
Well, since my office seems to lack heat, I am wearing my black winter hat (most important part of the outfit!!) with hiking boots, jeans, a green thermal undershirt with a yellow camping overshirt. I am a geology professor :)
@kelsgurl - that sounds about like my everyday uniform, haha! I love wrap sweaters! Have you ordered any from Victoria's Secret? I have a few of the 7 way sweaters, and I LOVE them! Your job sounds really interesting too - my degree is in culinary arts, but I would love to do something with nutrition!
@rockhugger - No heat? Yuck! It is way too cold here today!
I am wearing dark jeans, a grey sweater and a white long cami. That is the cute part of the outfit, since I was really cold this morning I am also wearing my white keds wich have seen better days because they are my only shoes I can wear socks with. I usually would wear some cute ballet flats but I did wear grey and red argyle socks to try and make up for it. I work in a property management office.
I work in Regulatory Affairs for a medical device company (yay cubicle land!) and I wore a light brown sweater with a ruffle detail from Ann Taylor Loft, denim colored dress slacks, and tan peep toe heels with a rosette detail.
I also wore a light gray peacoat from Victoria's Secret into work as it got really really cold out of no where in Dallas this morning.
@Lindsay12.31.2010: LOVE sweaters from Victoria's Secret! I'll have to check out the 7 way sweaters. And thanks! I love my job!
I wore a big grey cable knit long jumper, with (very)thick leggings and ugg boots, becasue they are the only shoes of mine that can cope with snow and ice lol! I work for claires accessories, our heating is broken as well, so I wore a black knit hat too,to keep the ears warm lol
x
@Mrs.KMM: In my dream work clothes land I would wear heals to work too but at my job I would look so out of place.
@kelsgurl - here is the link for my favorite one - I have it in two different colors, LOL. You can buy rings for it too and wear it other ways!
I’m wearing a lavender v-neck dress with ruffles on it from the Gap and a navy blue cardigan sweater. For shoes, I’m wearing black heels when I walk outside of my office and my pink short Uggs inside my office because it is so cold in here today! (I also have my space heater cranked brrrr). I work in the legal department of a telecommunications company.
I am a genetics student.
Today, there was a SERIOUS snowstorm, and so much snow they shut down my university (which never ever ever ever EVER shuts down), so... I'm wearing flannel pyjamas :)
I work as a writing tutor at my college. Today, I wore basic dark bootcut jeans, black boots with a 2" heel underneath (it's snowy here), and an ivory 3/4 sleeve sweater under a bright blue t-shirt with Toucan Sam on it, because that's how I roll. ;)
@bohemianbailie: Haha! I'm actually trying to get more used to it myself! I've never been a big heels person and about the highest I can do is 3" but I feel like in the corporate world I look out of place without them. I've gotten a few cute pairs lately (black, tan, and gray so they go with most everything) so I'm working on getting more used to them.
@Lindsay12.31.2010: Wow that's gorgeous! Thanks for the link :)
@Mrs.KMM: I know if things changed I would probably be saying how much my feet hurt from the heels! My boss today is wearing Nike running shoes, black warm up style pants and a t-shirt so I guess really no matter what I wear I am more dressed up!
I work for the corporate office of a popular retail chain. Four days a week we have to dress "business professional" and on Fridays its "business casual" (which pretty much just means the guys get to wear a polo or no tie). I wore black dress pants, a hot pink cami with a short sleeved light grey ruffle top and a black button up cardigan. I started out my day wearing these adorable gunmetal grey flats that I just bought but after successfully ripping LAYERS of skin off the back of my heel, I switched to my trusty black heels that I pretty much wear every day.
I have to admit, I'm a moron. We have a heated garage so I have no idea how cold it is outside until I get out of my car at work. Yep, it was like 16 degrees AND SNOWING and this chick didn't have a coat.
I'm wearing a bright blue v neck sweater, a white scarf, Citizens jeans and Danskos. I work in an office and we're pretty casual!
I work for a Destination Management Company in Napa...sales for tours/corporate events in the Wine Country! :)
I'm working and reading at home today. I'm a college teacher and student.
YOGA PANTS ALL THE WAY BABY!
Actually, I have a nice little cycle going on. Read a chapter, do a yoga pose, play on teh internetz, rinse and repeat.
I wore my pajamas because I work from home on Mondays! When I am in the office I tend to wear a pair of nice slacks with pumps and a sweater of some sorts.
Skinny jeans, white collar shirt, grey v-neck boyfriend cardigan with black skinny belt, checked scarf, uggs slippers.
I am a PR consultant (own my agency) and work out of my home. I didn't have clients today, so I could be more casual than if I had meetings.
I'm lazy today. I am wearing yoga pants with a t-shirt and flat black ballet type shoes to class today...
I wore a brown skirt suit with a pink blouse underneath. Brown pumps and hose. I work in a law firm (I'm a student clerk). I froze to death.
I got dressed today! (I sometimes wear yoga pants and a sweatshirt after getting up and roll down to my home office) I'm wearing a long sleeve plaid shirt and AG corduroy jeans and my comfy Puma boots to keep my feet warm (they're totally embarrassing but so comfy- plus no one sees me!)
I wore a skirt suit: black skirt with ruffles along the bottom and a fuchia jacket. I paired it with my checkered stockings and black heels. I'm an attorney. I've been getting compliments all day, including a juror who told me in the bathroom "you got it goin' on!"
The funny thing is this is the second time I've worn this suit. The first time I didn't get any comments at all. I've gotten dozens today. Funny, that.
scrubs !!! im a nurse, i wore my uggs to work and at work changed into white and blue nike;s
I'm a state forester and since we had 6 inches of snow on the ground and more coming down I wore a lot. Long John's, Carhartt pants, t-shirt, long sleeve uniform shirt, heavy Jacket, wool socks, insulated boots, and a tobogan. Wish I could have worn something cute, but I'm kind of used to it now. I'm not a big fan of this cold weather though
Oh and the colors were a lovely brown and a forest green:)
I at for the corporate office for a major bank, our attire is business casual except for top level executives who wear suits and ties. Today I'm wearing a blue sweater with black slacks and black boots. My usual morning routine is grab the first thing out of my closet that doesn't look wrinkled with half-closed sleepy eyes and hope that my shoes are matching each other, nothing has a hole or stain etc. I'm not a morning person AT ALL and don't really care how I look at work. I did get a lot of glances and double takes from guys today which made me nervous, because what I have on today is pretty conservative and doesn't warrant that kind of look. Then I passed a mirror and knew why...My nipples have apparantly decided to rebel against the bra and the wool sweater and say hello to everyone :( One more reason to hate the A/C.
I work at an ad agency. I wore black dress pants, black pointy toe heels. Navy 3/4 sleeve sweater layered over white tank. We had client meetings today. Tomorrow- Jeans.
I work as a behavior therapist with kids with autism at their schools and homes. Our dress code is super-casual but I usually dress it up a little.
Today I wore light gray skinny cords, a denim button-up shirt, a gray cardigan, gray scarf, and tan flats. It actually sounds like a really boring outfit written out like that, but I promise it was cute!
@eli11: I'm a nurse too. I wear scrubs and tennis shoes every.darn.day. But at least I never have to think about what I need to wear to work in the morning.
@meliss: Oh my! I have had wardrobe mishaps like that too. I am not a morning person at all so I can totally relate to grabbing whatever isn't wrinkled lol.
I work in the Accounting Dept so I wore grey slacks, green sweater, and black pointy toe heels. I have so many cute clothes but in the morning I want comfort and my nice warm bed to crawl back into...if it wasn't for coffee, I don't know how I would survive waking up early.
I work at a senior's home...so until 7am I wore scrubs, then I came home and wore pj's cuz I slept!
I'm wearing a blue-gray fitted cowl-neck sweater over a lace-top light gray cami, old jeans, purple-and-red wool socks, and my "office shoes" - a pair of little black ballet flats I keep under my desk and don't wear outside since they wouldn't do well in rain we get all the time here. To/from work I wear Patagonia boots.
I'm in environmental government consulting, in Seattle. Sometimes on Fridays I just wear a college hoodie... you definitely can't do that in government consulting on the east coast! (Jeans either, for that matter, and I wear them every day here).
I work in an law firm but we have casual dress unless I have court appearance or client meetings. Today I'm wearing these black knee high boots, with dark skinny jeans tucked in, a black crewneck cashmere sweater, a long pearl and pewter necklace and a gray leather jacket.

I had to run errands today, so I kept it casual with dark wash jeans, bubblegum pink Converse sneakers, a black top, and my favorite gray boyfriend cardigan. And my super cute gray and black plaid coat.
Once I have a car again and can start work, I'll be a substitute teacher. I tend to over dress for work, social functions, etc, so I'll probably walk into the classroom dressed like Joan Holloway.
I'm still at work! I'm a professor and today I wore black dress pants, a black lace top, and a red cardigan. I wore sensible black loafers because I took my lab TAs out for lunch as an end of semester thank you, and needed something practical to walk 15 minutes each way in the snow in!
I actually go to the same school as Uracil lol, and although I got to skip class, I still had to work at Costco, and I am lucky enough to be able to get away with wearing, Uggs, Jeans and a hoody to work :) comfy but snowy day!
