So, I’m not even close to being engaged. I wouldn’t even consider myself a waiting bee right now because my relationship with my SO is so new, BUT having been engaged once before with a disappointing ring experience, I’ve put a lot of thought into what I would like the next time around. I may or may not have a private pinterest board just for rings I like haha.
Anyway, I think I’ve finally figured out *exactly* what my ultimate dream ring would be:
It’s the Verragio Venetian 5013R-4, in yellow gold. I’m a pretty creative, dramatic person so I can’t abide by just a solitaire or a simple halo. I need a ring with LOTS of personality and with the scrollwork, beading and twisting pave shanks this ring has it all. The only change I’d make is to have the two side stones as pink diamonds/sapphires/morganite – and maybe choose rose gold vs. yellow gold.
Post a picture/description of your ultimate dream ring! And if you already have your ultimate dream ring, be sure to post it as well 🙂

I’m lucky enough to get to say I’m wearing mine, because my FI painstakingly designed it himself (with a little input from me along the way) <3
I love your dream ring! The yellow gold looks so rich and luxe, and the feminine, curvy details are so… I’m gonna say it, sexy!!

My dream ring is the Tiffany & Co. classic knife edge solitaire in 18k yellow gold with a 2.50 carat center stone.
My dream wedding band is the Tiffany & Co. Jazz band. I’d prefer 18k yellow gold, but I think it’s only available in platinum.
My wedding set is based off of my dream set. I used those rings as inspiration while choosing my setting for my stone reset and when I chose my wedding band. My solitaire setting is nearly idententical to Tiffany knife edge, except it’s a little higher set and my stone is clearly much smaller than my 2.50 dream. My wedding band looks pretty similar to the Jazz band in general, but is in yellow gold (not platinum) and I picked one with milgrain for a vintage-feel. Needless to say, I love my wedding set!!!

I love my ring.. it was for sure a dream come true when I got this one.. however,
My Dh asked me this the other day.. I guess we think a bit differently then most people but we own our own business and when we reach a certain level in business, we will be upgrading per my husband… he sent me one the other day I am in love with…

My first love is emerald cuts, but I could not turn from yellow diamonds. And combining the 2 is quite expesnive but If I had $40,000…
In a more realistic world:

Dare I say I’m wearing mine.. lol My FI and I went to the ring shop and I picked out three rings I loved and then left him to the final decision when he was ready to get it. Luckily, he fell in love with the same one I did<3

Wow, I have been thinking about this question!
No pics, just in imagination, mine would have to be a rose or 18k yellow gold shank shaped in the infinity symbol all the way around (like little elongated figure 8s connecting to one another, around the band). On each infinity symbol would be small fancy intense yellow diamonds, like pave I guess (?). The center diamond would be low set (everything has to be low setting with me) with a 2.2 carat intense yellow RB solitaire.
My God I would die if that was made to perfection and put on my finger. Wouldn’t need another piece of jewelery til the end of time.

@gsu02olliff: Just saw this after my post! My God, there is something about those intense yellows that I adore. It is like you have a piece of the Sun on your hand!
ETA, that is a beautiful ring right there.

I have simple taste in ring designs and like the “plain”. My dream ring would be my exact ring, with a 2.25 ct center.

@sweetpotata: I have always loved a yellow diamond… I have seen a few regular diamond rings and they do nothing for me that a yellow one does…

@joya_aspera: That’s awesome! I’d love to see it, if you’ve got a picture to post 🙂
@6598731ssfse3: I love the Tiffany knife edge solitaire! And I really, really adore your set – yay for another yellow gold lover 🙂 Your set looks fabulous together.
@gsu02olliff: I like the idea of upgrading as they years go by, especially if you really love jewelry. I *love* fancy yellows – I don’t wear much yellow, so they aren’t for me, but they have this majestic quality to them that is breathtaking. I really love the little pave loop on the side view – so unique!
@MASPA: Oooh. Never been huge on emerald cuts, but those are both stunning. Is the second one your ring?
@Quicksand: Always nice when you’re on the same page! I like the idea of picking 3 and letting him choose, I’ve considered doing that as well when the time comes. I’d love to see a picture!
@sweetpotata: Really digging the sound of that, especially with the infinity infinity symbols 🙂

@pinkshoes: I have looooong drooled over your ring. It’s a stunner!

ya know I think the only thing I would change is that my blue topaz would be a blue diamond. given the size of my center stone it would be really pricey 🙁 booo!!! but I guess thats why it’s my dream ring! but I can honestly say that in a realistic world, I have my dream ring. I picked it out myself so it better be what I want lol
