Yesterday was my one year wedding anniversary:) We had a great anniversary weekend: our anniversary and Christmas present: is a little tiny baby growing inside me. Yep, I'm pregnant! :)

I'm right about the point where I just missed my period(should be having it now). How many weeks pregnant do you think I am? It's been about 2 weeks, or a little tiny bit more since my fertility period.

I found out because I woke up with nausea for the first time on Friday and a heightened smell. At the same time I felt feverish. Turns out I was having nausea from morning sickness and a stomach/intestinal virus at the same time. I had a 101 fever later, took tylenol to bring it down. I've still been running a fever in the 99's(lower area). So anyways, I went to the Urgent Care yesterday and they took a pregnancy test, plus said I had a virus probably. So they said, you're pregnant, so congratulations!

Anyways, I am just a bit freaked out at this point. Yes, I'm happy, but I am stressed/nervous at the same time. Like I am having anxiety about it. I am worried because I am naturally skinny and have been my whole life, so I am worried about eating nutritionally perfect. I heard being skinny could make it a higher risk pregnancy? Anyways, I don't want to tell my family yet for obvious reasons. But any advice? Do doctors ever see you this early?

Yay congratulations! I'm pretty sure most docs won't see you till a certain amount of weeks. I'm sure one of our momma bees or moma to be bees will fiill you in.

    So exciting!!

Congratulations! You should be a little over 4 weeks.  You can count from the first day of your last period to find out usually, unless your ovulation was a little off.

My doctor didn't want to see me until I was between 8-10 weeks unless I was having bad cramping or too much bleeding.  I know some bees are able to go in for blood tests but my doctor told me that home pregnancy tests are super accurate and they won't really be able to do much until at least 8 weeks so we needed to wait.

Congrats! You are probably 4-5 weeks pregnant. If you don't have an OB, now would be a good time to find one. Some dr.s won't see you till about 8 weeks, but mine told me to come in right away. If you havent' already, start taking a pre-natal vitamin. The over the counter ones are fine. Also, start to drink a lot of water. If you are natually skinny but eat healthy, you should be fine. You don't need to be nutritionally perfect, but eat lots of protien, fruits and veggies and have a glass of milk every now and then, preferably with a brownie :-) I know it is a nervous time, but try to relax and enjoy.

@starry: Congrats! My mama is naturally skinny and she didn't have a high risk pregnancy. She is one of those people who have a super fast metabolism. I am sure your doctor will tell you if they consider you high risk since they will charge you more and have to see you more. Good luck!

You shouldn't worry about being naturally thin and being pregnant. My sister in law is underweight and has been her whole life. She can't gain weight for anything and has had 2 healthy full-term pregnancies. She gained the right amount of weight for the baby and lost it all right after giving birth both times. Being thin doesn't mean a high risk pregnancy necesarily. Good luck and congratulations!

Congrats!  I got my BFP 3 days before our 1-year wedding anniversary, and I told DH on our arriversary.  It's a great 1-year gift :-)  Good luck with everything!  My doctor wouldn't see me until 8-10 weeks, but she did let me go to the lab for a confirmation blood test, since I was having trouble believing I was really pregnant based on my HPT.
