I think they need to make a movie about single girls lost in the atlanta suburbs..THAT is a challenge I can tell you having been (before T) a single girl living in alpharetta, ga.
Being single in the burbs, especially A'retta, seems like it would be miserable. It almost seems like the singles get shunned in that neck of the woods.
Nah. I like the fact that Samantha is single. That was what irritated me about the show was all of them settled down in the end. Was this show about celebrating being single and not needing men? But I digress. I LOVE Sex and the City. I cannot wait.
Even though I didn't like the first movie, I LOVED the show. This sounds like a fabulous bachelorette party. My friends have been teasing me and suggesting I have a SATC themed wedding since they originally called my guy Mr. Big.
I'm SO excited for this!!!! My bach. party was SATC themed, it was a blast. I really do hope there is less whining about Big - good lord.

Fun! I'm glad this movie will be more about the fun instead of Big! I cry every time I watch the first one and it makes it less enjoyable. lol
Yay! Can't wait to see what they come up with. The first one was definitely frustrating (but still good) so I'm excited that the sequel will have less drama and more fun!
Think they can make a scene funnier than Charlotte's little "incident" in Mexico? Hahaha, I love that scene!
Sounds like a great idea. I, too, loved the SATC series....but HATED the movie. Samantha moving to LA!! WTF?? And then using the same like to dump Smith that she used with Richard Wright. Hello repeat. And Big getting cold feet. How predictable. And Carrie's assistant...who is suppose to be the next "Carrie," would never have gotten back with her ex in true SATC series style. But okay sure, I'll play along?? NOT! Standford and Anthony kissing??? Oh, I was so done at that point. Ok I will not keep griping about the crappy movie.
I hope the sequel is better. It would be a great bachelorette party gettting all dressed up and downing cosmos.
So exciting! I am hoping to incorporate this into my BF Bachelorette party next year!!!!!! YAY!!!!
I also HATED the movie. I've always been a Carrie fan and I thought the end was totally pathetic.
I love Sex and the City, the show, but I do not love that girls move to NYC thinking that it's what life is really like here. No one lives like that, especially writers who would never be able to afford that apartment ;o)
IMDB says the USA release date is May 28th!
I don't really watch it on TV but I LOVED the first movie! And it's such a great idea for a bachelorette party for those when the timing works out.
Am I the only person who thinks Carrie is the most annoying character on television..or anywhere for that matter? I can't STAND her-but I love the other characters, and the clothes of course.
I have to be honest. I so wanted Carrie to have that perfect, dream wedding. I did. I was actually miffed at Big b/c she was given no ring too. But if I'd been publicly dissed at the altar, I would have done as she did and gone on vacation with my friends and taken advantage of the resort!
And I would have totally dumped big and never seen him again if I were jilted the day of the wedding and the excuse of the cell phone going to voice mail? LAME!
Charlotte's incident made me laugh so hard I cried.
May 28 will be perfect for me!!!!! Woo hoo!

Hello lover! That's gonna be my bachelorette party! Woo hoo! I can see it now! Just like last time...me n the girls will get all dressed up, go out for martinis and cosmos in our fave heels, and then go see the movie!
We went on opening night and there wasn't one guy in the whole entire audience and all 2 showings were sold out!
Is this not the best idea for a bachelorette party?
