Congratulations and welcome to the bee :-)
I suggest setting up a budget and getting a venue first and then go from there.
Ive pretty much just started planning as well. I've made a few small purchases here and there, but nothing huge. I've mostly been researching venues/caterers/photographers because those are the most important things to me. I suggest researching different things and collecting a bunch of ideas of things you might want and start a wedding binder with ideas and possibilities.
Congratulations! and Good Luck.

I just recently got started planning our wedding. We are planning on April or May 2012. Growing up I thought I knew exactly what I wanted for my wedding, and now that its finally here I have no clue what I want. We decided to go with a spring wedding and have chosen to do Blue and Kiwi colors. I haven't totally set in on which blue since apparently there are 50.000 different shades of it. Haha. I like colbalt blue because it isn't so bright but also not too dark like navy. Now I have to decide what color and type of flowers to carry and decorate with. I guess what I'm saying is I NEED HELP! It's early on but I wanna try and get a head start so I dont start going crazy later. Thanks for any and all suggestions!
