My wedding is still 73 days away til the wedding, I just got a huge check in the mail from my step-grandfather…it says wedding/birthday in the memo.
My birthday was last week….do I send him a thank you card or do I just thank him in person?

thank you card, definitely

@rebwana: For someone close to you, I would definitely do it in person and get a card too!

I think doing both is nice.

Card and in person for a big check and tell him how you used it and use it well I might add.
I’d put it to the honeymoon since most wedding stuff is probably already done, and maybe something you really really want from your registry that hasn’t been bought. Just don’t go crazy and buy something dumb like a diamond tiara or a $300 cake cutter.

@kala_way: LOL! Ofcourse. =)

@kala_way: I just giggled at the idea of your sarcastic $300 cake cutter, then i realized those things probably exist

just in case anyone is wondering what a $300 cake cutter looks like:
but to be fair, it does come with the lifter too!

I would most definitely do both. 🙂

Send a Thank You. And thank him in person.
Also, I need this problem.
