i got contacted and filled a questionaire out back in july... they called back all interested and wanted to set up an interview. I missed that call and when i called them back they said that they were not setting up october weddings yet but that they would be in touch. i have not heard from them but now my wedding is coming up!! oh well, it would have been fun but i wasn't like counting on it or anything- more like whatever happens, happens.
I was looking at a local photographer blog and saw pictures from a red, white & blue Texas wedding that will be on 4 weddings.
Oh wow... Good luck! I've actually never heard of 4 Weddings, so I'm going to have to look it up.
We got called as well, but ultimately, when we thought through it, it didn't seem like the right thing for us. We only have 65 people most of whom know each other so having three people there that were obviously not friends or family seemed like it might be awkward. Keep us posted if you are on, I love to watch to the show!

I went on an interview yesterday to be on the show! I'm waiting for a call back from the producers to see if they want me. I have mixed feelings about it- I think it could be a really fun experience, but I don't want it to detract from the wedding day at all. I don't want to be stressed out about it, don't want their camera crew to be too obtrusive, and am not sure I want my wedding to be so public. Has anyone out there participated on the show? I'd love to hear feedback about the experience!
Most said they probably wouldn't do it if they were asked again. Mostly because they wanted their wedding to be more private, but they enjoyed the experience. One of them did win, so they are using the trip for their one year anniversary.
@arose29: thanks for the info! its great that your friend won! did you attend any of the weddings? just wondering how intrusive the camera crew was- I would want our guests to feel self-conscious about being filmed or be required to sign releases or anything like that...
Id love to hear more about this!!! I want to know what goes on behind the scenes too!!! Also would love to know how obtrusive the camera guys are....even though I already had my wedding and wouldnt go on this show, but Im interested!
