I know it is all about her engagement but honestly, there are only so many ways to ask how he proposed! They were probably asking you because it is really unlikely that your friend has made plans yet so there isn't really much to talk about with their upcoming wedding. Do you have a lot of common friends? Maybe they were just using the opportunity to ask you about your wedding plans, since they don't get to see you often (even if maybe it wasn't the best time to ask).

So...one of my BM's got engaged a few weeks ago...in Paris!
I just got back from her engagement party and I'll say it was interesting....people would still congratulate me on my upcoming nuptials or talk about my plans and I kind of shyed away...tonight wasn't my night..it was hers.
Anyone else experienced something similar?
