I just got back from my boudoir shoot with the awesome Last Forty Percent Photography.
My salon was running late and then traffic was horrible, so I was a few minutes late getting to the shoot…this actually ended up being a blessing in disguise and I had absolutely zero time to get nervous!
I think it went really well. The photographer was very clear with his instructions (this was a HUGE relief to me!) and I think I got to do about four different outfits/looks. I ended up being totally comfortable, which surprised me.
My back is SO sore now from having to arch my back and stick out my butt a LOT for two straight hours!
Can’t wait to see the photos in about a month.
If you’re going to b-pics here are a few things I learned/recommend:
-get your hair and makeup done professionally – so much less stressful
-fake eyelashes are KEY
-try to get to know your photographer a little bit in advance to make sure that you’re comfortable with him/her…you will find that after awhile you don’t even notice you’re half-naked anymore!
-bring a whole bunch of looks with you (more than you will need) so that you and the photographer can review them and decide on the top few that will look best in photos
Oh, one other funny thing: there was an earthquake in the middle of my shoot!!
