@bunnylovinbride: wow! Welcome and congratulations :) pics?? and what part of northern california are you from?
Congrats! Don't worry, my wedding is almost a year further in the future than yours, I'm not even engaged yet, and I've been excitedly dreaming about and planning my wedding for months and months. He and I have almost all the details worked out. ; ) Besides, it's good to get a head start--that helps eliminate stress later on. Welcome! :D
Welcome. :) And there is nothing wrong with that. I ordered my dress in January...I'm still 14 months out.
Congratulations!!! And hey... anything to keep you sane while you wait right? Enjoy this next phase as much as you did the last!
Congratulations!!
I did the exact same thing as you! I stalked this site for months and then a week after my FI asked me I got all excited 'cause I realised I could read it all and not feel awful!
I also put a deposit on my dress and I'm still 19 months out so you're not crazy!
(Or at least if it IS crazy then you're not alone).
Congrats and welcome! I definitely was one of those women who had a lot planned in her mind before the actual proposal! ;)
Congrats on your engagement! I think I speak for a lot of us when I say "Tell your proposal story!!" Also, you're not alone in your "pre-planning," there's tons of bees who've done it!!
Welcome!!! Congratulations on the engagement - I know what you mean about that feeling of being 'guilt free' with the wedding stuff now. ;)
@bunnylovinbride: Hehehe, hey at least you have an engagement ring on your finger! I've yet to be asked, but it's moving in that direction; but I know what you mean. Just with the fact that everything feels 'right' when we're together I've all ready started making little notes here and there on what I want on my wedding day. Sad thing is, I swore when I was younger I'd never be this way, yet here I am soaking in every little detail on DIY's, and such. Welcome to the board, and grats on the engagement.

Congratulations!!!!
You're allowed to be *this* excited!! You just got engaged and are getting married!!!
I can relate to the excitement pre-engagement.... 2-3 weeks ago my SO and I went looking at rings. I know a ring was ordered....now I wait. But secretely, I am looking at all the blogs, and internet sites and am already researching venues. Nothing's been bought or booked yet, I'm just lookin!!!!! But I can't wait for it to be official so I can tell everyone and also actually start the wedding planning.
All the best to you! Looking forward to reading more about the developments.

I have been stalking this website (and just about every other wedding blog/board site...) for months! I finally got my proposal last night so I get to wear my gorgeous engagement ring! I've called all my family and friends and everyone is excited which is good news. Sadly, I think I have already planned the entire wedding down to the venue (and bought a dress with my soon to be SIL...). Is anyone else this crazy? There has to be someone out there! I may have even started a few registries
(don't worry! I haven't mentioned them to people!). I never thought I would be one of 'those' women, but here I am, already going crazy about my wedding! This is so freaking exciting!
