I was also warned that i would need to size up my ring, so my wedding bands were ordered in a 1/2 size bigger and my Engagement Ring will need to be re-sized after the wedding. when i have them soldered together. I think the money is well spent if its going to mean its comfortable. Good luck! Sucks that no one warned you and now you have to pay twice. 🙁

I just had my rings soldered and they fit fine. They fit as good as they did prior to having the, soldered.

The employee should have been informed enough to know that you should always size up when soldering. You need to let the store know that you are not paying the difference because you were not informed of this. Dont take no for an answer.

I absolutely agree, and honestly I don’t think you should have to pay twice for something that should have been done right the first time. I am so sorry to hear that!

Soldering cost WHAT?????

Gads, I have all three of mine soldered and it cost like $30…

I noticed no difference in sizing when they were soldered.

If it’s a chain store and the manager refuses than I’d suggest you call the corporate office.
