My FI picked up our wedding bands and I am in love!! I can’t wait to wear them together! I was originally planning to soder (sp?) them together, now I am not so sure….

Woah!! bling bling – um love your set!
edit: of right, you did ask a question in your original post! (sorry I was distracted but the sparkleness) I don’t think you should solder them.

Thanks ladies!! It was hard for me to imagine the final ring set when we were talking with the jeweler and i thought I wanted to solder them together for sure, now I don’t know. What do you ladies think would be better? Leave them apart of solder them together after the wedding??

I’m planning on soldering my after the wedding as my engagement ring and wedding band in the end will form one ring… i can wear my e-ring by itself but when i get my wedding band i won’t be able to wear it on it’s own just because of the design (kindda links around the diamond of my e-ring) it would catch on everything.
The only time i will be wearing it onit’s own is during the ceremony and for photo’s… but then i’ll slip my e-ring on for extra photos lol
but yes i’m thinking of having them soldered together afterwards 🙂

by the way your rings together are beautiful! love them

I wouldn’t soder them together because you can wear them separately. Like Pebbles, my band is going to be made for the engagement ring, and looks funny by itself, so I’ll probably soder them. Definitely worth having the option to wear just one or both.

I’m always on Team No-Solder. 🙂 Let them be free!!

I agree. There might be some event/situation/something where you want to wear your band, and it just might be more convenient logistically to leave the e-ring at home. Like if you’re going to be working with your hands a lot or are worried about snagging something with it.
Your set is gorgeous! Congratulations! 🙂
