(Closed) Just had a brainwave–dance lessons between the band’s sets at reception!!

Eh, I don’t really see a need to fill the time with something structured, like dance lessons. It could be nice for people to have time to talk w/o music drowning them out.  Usually live bands have music playing from an ipod or computer during their breaks, so people can still dance. I would check into if your band offers that or not.

We’re doing somewhat different but similar- if that makes sense. We’re dancers so we’re having two friends teach a lesson during the cocktail/Dr Pepper hour but during the breaks we are having a DJ playing a canned set list so we can play a variety of artists within a set of genres (so we can include some blues and more non-dancer friendly music that isn’t within our band’s style.)
