So I've seen a good deal of coverage on CNN about the recent tornados. I feel just awful about all of the people who have lost everything and lost their loved ones. It's all very heartbreaking. But then I started thinking about how I bet there are a lot of weddings that had to get canceled, with venues, churches, dresses and all the other stuff that goes along with wedding planning (DIY projects even!) that probably got totally ruined. As a bride-to-be in the midst of planning, this made me feel really sad. We put so much time and effort into our decisions and details. Having a nice wedding is now probably at the bottom of the list for a lot of people...It just made me wish there was something we could do, like set up a fund for brides who lost everything, so at least after all the loss and tragedy, they are still able to have a wedding.
What do you bees think? I have donated to the Red Cross, but I just feel like I wish I could do more for other brides-to-be...
