Weddingbee boards

So tonight my Dad, Step-mom, Dad's parents and myself went to the FILs home for dinner.  Think the Clampets go to Beverly Hills.  Okay maybe not that bad but you get the idea!

I was really nervous but all went well.  The dinner was wonderful the conversation was good expect for the questions about politics.  My Dad is a former City Councilman so I guess they thought we enjoy talking politics. 

Tomorrow night is my Mom and her Fiance, my brother and sister-in-law and my mom's parents.  Please pray for us!

My FMIL gave me the family silver that has been passed down as our wedding gift! Very neat and unexpected I think even for my FI!

Just talked to the FI and asked him if we passed and he said, "my parents asked me the same thing!" LOL  Goes to show you no matter your lifestyle, etc we all worry about the same things sometimes

Yay!! Im glad it went so well! yeah politics is usually not a good idea to bring up. lol. but it sounds like everything turned out ok regardless. I am kind of nervous about when our families meet too! I hope that the rest of the family meetings go just as smoothly! Good Luck! :)

So last night was my Mom's turn to do dinner with my Future in laws.  Everything went really well and I think the conversation was much more relaxed then the night before with my Dad's family.

The only bad part is that when we were washing and drying the china we broke two pieces. My FMIL dropped one piece and then the FI and I broke the second piece. I feel bad because it was the china from my FI's grandmother.

I'm hoping that we can find some pieces online and buy for her to replace them.
