Aw, thanks! Probably won't post pics because I prefer to remain anonymous in the good 'ol online world, but he is chocolate colored and looks like he is mostly lab. The shelter said he probably has some shepherd in him too, although I don't really see it!

And I know what you mean about getting a pup (I haven't rescued a pup myself but my bff has)...I heard from her it is craaaazy paperwork/checks but that is a good thing!!
No worries. I totally understand about anonymity... but I thought maybe since dogs were less distinguishing than, say, our faces :)

And he is the cutest darned thing I have ever seen! It's so funny, I'm feeling pet-owner anxiety, being responsible for this little guy. They need a lot of care! Not to mention the whol house training thing!
FI and I picked him up from the shelter yesterday (funny side note - it's insane what you have to go through before they will hand over a dog these days!) He is on my lap right now trying to lick my face off! I love him!!
