That is just GORGEOUS!  GREAT job!

Please consider posting that in the DIY section with some instructions!  Smile

Re: adding some bling - what if you got crystal garland and sort of intertwined it through the branches and leave only the very ends "hanging".  That will give it sparkle and a wee bit of motion, too.

Thanks everyone!!!!!!! I'm probably gonna sell them after the wedding 11/28/2010 at cost so.....

I got the branches from www.bloomsandbranches.com I used the sandblasted manzanita

    24- 30 inches

If you buy in bulk each branch comes out to 17$ including shipping!

The whole thing is in plaster of paris... I bought that in bulk 9lbs for 9.99$ I used about 2 lbs per pot

The pot came from target garden section 12.99

the glass pebbles came from michaels 2.99

And the hydrengas came out to be like 2.60$ per stem (I used 6 stems)

Oh and...I spray painted the whole thing in white 2.99

Wow, those are really pretty!  Do you have to put them on lazy susans?  I think they would look really cute with crystals on them. :)

Question... because I'm  a newbee and get confused easily.  Why are you putting them on lazy susans?

@helstrong  ... I'm putting them on lazy susans because I'm having a chinese banquet reception....I'm thinking about breaking tradition and forgoing the lazy susans...well see how that works because I'm having a family style dinner

@elliemae My table cloths are gold....and my wedding colors are gold/creme/brown but I'm thinking of down playing the brown

I love it! I think some crystals draped from it would add just the right finishing touch. I ordered my crystal garlands from www.save-on-crafts.com and they are awesome. So "blingy" and super affordable. ($10 for a 6-ft. strand, I think?)
