It sounds like it’s doing exactly what it’s supposed to. Cramps are normal. As long as you are not bleeding, you shouldn’t be overly worried. Also, it’s common for symptoms to come and go this early on. I had a doctor assure me of that as well, because one day I’d be so sick, and the next was totally fine. I think you’re borrowing trouble you don’t need. Me saying “relax” isn’t going to help you do it, so try to find some mellow activity you enjoy to take your mind off of things.

How are you doing? This is super common. My coworker lost two pregnancies and was so worried they would lose this one. They had a beautiful, healthy baby yesterday.

It is perfectly normal to worry, check for blood, and think every tick is something wrong. Know that it is normal and use that nervous energy to knit a baby blanket or clean your house.

I had a lot of menstrual like cramps for the first two months.  Pretty big, painful ones.  It was scary, but my doc assured me it was perfectly normal.  Try to lose yourself in an activity you enjoy.  Hope you’re all right!

OP – how are you doing?  I had a TON of cramps, and completely lost symptoms at some point as well.  I think I wrote a post about it as well.  Are you bleeding?  Did you call your doc?  I hope you’re ok!

Oh darling. I hear ya! I also freak out every two seconds and im also only 5w 4d. I Keep checking myself for bleeding. Over analyse everything. Get obsesively scared that anything I do / dont do could trigger a mc. It’s awful!!! It’s crazy this whole pregnancy thing and I don’t think we’re ever comPletely not scared. Or it’s a mc, or baby problem or painful labour. The truth is I don’t think, from the moment we conceive, that we’ll stop being scared and worried cos even later with a baby, child I can easily see myself being worried that something will happen to him/her. But we still want to have children and be mothers, so i guess we just have to trust our bodies. I’ve been praying too which has helped even though I’m not terribly church active.

Btw as far as I know only real flow bleeding indicates a mc, is that right? So if you don’t have One it’s all fine. I know easier heard thaN actually believed.  I am getting a lot of discharge with is creamy. Weird stuff. Also hardly any symptons today. Even ate two whole meals! But hang in there lady, and trust your body. It’s doing incredible things right now! Lots OF GL!

I’m 5 weeks pregnant today and I’ve been having cramps since last night which caused me to worry a bit. Like others have said though, it seems to be a normal symptom. I’m in the same boat as you since I’ve also had a miscarriage and it’s easy to get worried very easily. Don’t you wish pregnancy had a fast forward button so we could get past the scary parts? I know I sure do!

@Sunshine09:  sounds very much like where I was at 5 weeks (now going on 7). If there’s no blood there’s no need to worry. I had massive cramps from ovulation to this past week when they subsided. I talked to my doctor about them but she said they were normal. Sounds like your body is simply getting ready for baby! ๐Ÿ™‚ I had a mc as well so I’m down right terrified some days, but I’m learning to let go and let whatever will happen- happen.
