soo…what do you think..Tins or Sachels with a ribbon? Here is my venue so you can get an idea. Also what woudl be easier do you think? This is a second reception so I need to keep things as simple as possible.

I would do tins because I wouldn’t be able to tie pretty bows.

I like the bag w/ ribbon. I always associate M&Ms with eating out of bags.

both good points! I suck at tying ribbons too. Also w/ the tins you can put cute labels. hmmm

oh i really really want to get the personalized M&Ms!! They don’t deliver outside the US though and i live just across the border in Monterrey Mexico
I like the little bags more than the tins actually

I did the little bags. I bought tulle circles in packs of 50 from hobby lobby for like $5 and used leftover ribbon from our invites. And then stupidly made little handwritten labels with leftover invite cardstock.
They were cute though!

The bags are super cute, but as a PP said, I wouldn’t be able to do the cute bows nearly as nicely, but if you can, and have the patience, definitely go for it 🙂

How funny, I was just playing around with making some earlier. But I was having trouble deciding what I would want to put them in, so I cant help. I like the look of the bags, but like a PP said, tying those ribbons would be hard work to make pretty. XD

The bags with ribbions look great, tins will hide the M&M’s

I think the bags would be more “secure”. The tins look like they may be flimsier or that the lid might pop off by accident.

I think the bags with the bow look very elegant!

How many favors from that 5lb bag?
I like the bags just because the ribbon adds extra color and m&m’s come out of bags usually anyways hahaha. 😉

I think I like the bags too! Might be more cost effective. I’ve been thinking about buying these too for our welcome bags for out of town guests.

@Willow1991: My fiance’ thinks it will be more than enough for 100+ favors…but I’m not convinced as of yet….we shall see.
