Congratulations!! I pick up my dress Friday. I am still putting together place cards and programs. I think my DIY projects are keeping me from truly getting nervous. I can't believe it is only a week away. At least I am on vacation, which really helps.
We finalized our honeymoon travel. I'm excited.
Enjoy this time it will go by fast.
I go for my final fitting on Monday. I'm super bummed because it's supposed to rain all week. The grass is going to be soggy, I'll have to get a diff. pair of shoes to be outside in for pictures.
Eeeek I'm so nervous! I want this week to go so fast, but at the same time I'm loving the anticipation. Haha. We'll never be waiting for this day ever again.
So exciting!! I can't believe the week is here! I'm surprisingly not nervous about the marriage thing - I just want the wedding day to go well (no rain, like my hair/makeup, dress fits ok, etc). Good luck girls!
@DeaconBride: I can't decide if the final few projects are a good distraction or the cause of my nerves/stress! I think most things are done but until its all set and ready to go on Friday night I don't think I'll be truly at ease! I am certainly enjoying this time though and
@soon2bhis: you're right we won't ever get to wait for this day to come around again!
@xshellx2003:Do you have backup shoes for wet outdoors? Try not to worry about it - if you have a long dress you can probably get away with something more hard-wearing under it as nobody wil really see - I'm actually wearing cowboy boots under mine for our couple portraits specifically because we'll be on grass and I don't want to ruin my 'pretty shoes'!

Hi April bees! Today I picked up my dress for our wedding next Saturday! My FI's groomsmen all arrived yesterday to stay with us for a week (they've all flown to the UK from Texas especially to be here), so a lot of excitement over the past 24 hours and now I'm left feeling really nervous and sick in my tummy :-S The whole "wedding project" is quickly now starting to become a reality, I can't believe this time in 7 days we'll be Mr and Mrs!
How are you other April 30th brides getting on now we're on the home straight?
