I went to a friend’s sister’s quinceñera and the entrance of the court was so awesome! I want to do something similar now for our entrance. She had 5 damas and their chambelanes, the first four pairs walked in carrying lengths of fabric in alternating colors. After waking in, they each grabbed an edge and lay it across the walkway. The 5th pair walked in and as they crossed over the fabric, they coated each one in large confetti pieces. Finally, the quinceñera and her escort walked in and as they approached each one, the pair would lift the fabric over their heads, tossing the confetti in the air and creating an arch to be walked under. Then, the 5th pair with the confetti tossed the rest up when the couple reached them. It was so cool to watch.
I kinda want to do that now with our wedding party. We’d just have to figure out the walking order.
