Inspired by the recent post on prom dresses that pass, I went looking. Especially since I desire a BLUE dress, figured it was a good option for me.
Check this out! (SORRY, couldn’t figure out how to save or link to image alone)
Only misgiving is it says “Gray” (but looks blue to me)… and it’s polyester (but I could deal)…sooo cheap and i’d been looking at similar dresses but all were way too much money (especially hard to find in blue too!)
I’m not keen on backless… but maybe a jacket could be made to compliment it? Thoughts on that?

I think it would look gray in person because it does look pretty gray to me so it might just be a variation due to monitors. I think it’d make a great wedding dress, but above all, go see it in person!

Honestly I’m not a huge fan of the dress, especially because it doesn’t sound like YOU love it! I know the price is awesome but I think that is reflected in the quality of the dress (it looks lower-end).
How about something like this? It looks like you can get it customized in any color!

I think it’s a sort of steely blue/grey.
I say if you like it, go for it. You could maybe get a jacket made in similar fabric but in a more-blue colour? That way you could bring out the blue more in the actual dress.

That looks a little too “prom” to me, I think. If you love it, that’s great. But it definitely says “formal dance”

Like you…it looks more like an ice blue to me. I say GO FOR IT!! If it’s not right, it’s only $60 and you could still return it and get your money back.
Plus, you could stick some crinoline under it if you wanted it to be like a ballgown.

Thanks all; it must be monitor variations.
As for the website “bridalweddings.ca” or whatever that is, I was looking and looking there yesterday but thought it was one of those china websites to avoid. Not sure though.
And yeah, honestly I don’t LOVE this dress, but I am glad to be exploring the prom dress options since I’ve found I might actually find something in BLUE that way.
At any rate I have decided I will visit department stores to try on dresses to decide on what looks best.. sounds way less stressful than going to a bridal shop from what I’ve read here about doing that!
Thanks for the feeback!

Just curious, what makes it look “prommy”? Is it fabric quality or some other feature? I’m not offended, just curious. I have recently noticed pick up skirts (I know, I know, I am way behind the times) and love them but am unsure about them as well… they do seem to be popular.
I wonder if something like this but in a better fabric would work?
