Take it week by week. You quit to run your own business, so ask yourself is the money from my day job worth it to help get this business off the ground? Can I put up with the problems for another week and is it worth it?

jbailey0920  I would quit, if you postponed your dream job based on an offer/promise your current job made and they couldn’t live up to their end of the bargain then I would leave….what makes it worse on their part is how soon they went back on their word.

I also feel by your post that they now feel like they did you a favor by paying you more for your job, as you yourself stated you have been underpaid for your job all this time, they don’t seem ethical and I wouldn’t want to work for them, but that is just my opinion.

Good Luck to whatever you choose
