Just wanted an outsider perspective... If you were a guest would you like this?? : wedding Seeded Paper Matchbook

I wanted to do something green with my wedding favors, and not something that is useless... So this is a matchbook of seed paper, and it can be whatever flower I want... i.e forget-me-nots, herbs etc :)

I thought it was a really great concept!

It's a cute idea. Guests without a garden wouldn't have any place to plant it, but we could pass it along to someone else.

It's very cute, but I could see a lot of people not paying attention to what it was and just leaving it behind. Or putting it in their purse and forgetting about it.

I think your best bet for people using them would be to choose the herb ones. Those will work for windowsill herb gardens as well as outdoor gardens, so those who without gardens would be more likely to use them. If you're feeling super ambitious you could even attach the seed machbooks to terra cotta pots so all they need is a scoop of soil.

I love the idea but am super partial because I work in the environmental field and was thinking of the same thing! :) and I figured people would "get it" and like it because they know my career...so I think people would appreciate it! :)

I don't think I can actually vote. It sounds like a great idea. But it would probably be one of them things that would get forgotten in my purse then just thrown away when I cleaned it out. I don't have a very green thumb.

I would defnitely take one.  I don't know if I would plant it myself.  I would probably give it to my mom because she is the one who is all about gardening.  But I think it's a very cute idea.

Its really cute, but I don't think I'd ever use it.  I hate gardening though, so maybe that skews my opinion a bit...

I'm not a gardener, but I'd looooove that! I'd probably stop at Target on the way home from your wedding and pick up a pot to plant it in! Haha.

I think it is cute, but could be a big waste of money as not everyone will know what it is or care to use it.

It really is very cute! I agree with PP about using a herb instead of a flower. i'm not a gardner but I would think a windowbox of herbs would be fantastic!

It's cute, but if I were a guest, like you're asking, I would probably leave it. Or at least take it to look nice, but toss it at home. But that's because I don't garden, or even have space to do so.

I think it's really really cute.  If I got something like that, it would definitely go into my purse (definite plus that it is small)!!  Although same as futuremrssassy, can't say if I'd actually plant it since I have a black thumb :)

ya i would be someone who ultimately tosses it after holding onto it for a while with good intentions.  i voted edible is better.

I agree it is super cute, but would probably go with herbs or something that people can grow indoors who might not have gardens. And choose a super hearty plant that is hard to kill like basil for those guests with less than green thumbs

It's cute, but as a city dweller, I'd have zero use for it.  We can't even have window boxes because they could attract rats.  So if you're between this and something edible, I would go with the edible.

I love it, but I will say I'd have left it a few years ago - it's only recently we've made the effort to compost and plant things. But maybe you could donate what's left to a community garden or something?

very cute! love the whole green,,, we are all for it!

the seed paper is awesome for gifts- even those with out a garden because they can plant them in a pot!

we are actually trying to make our invites and all the paper ( expect the save the dates) in seeded paper either flower or herbed!

for our favors..we are having a xmas themed wedding so we are planning on giving out mini tree seedlings!

It is a really cute idea! But as for me, I do not have a green thumb and always kill my plants. so I would not use it....
