There were a few threads about this right when the movie came out. I personally didn't like it, but I did think that the dress she wore in her dream sequence was pretty.
To be honest, I'm embarrassed that I even have an opinion about this, hahaha.
Hate it, but love the dream sequence dress.
I like the dream sequence dress. I have a love hate relationship with the actual wedding dress. She can pull it off with her long, slender figure, and I love the back. I do not like the front though.
It is overall, too "paris runway" for my taste. And not at all what I pictured when I read the book. Loved her shoes though!
loved it! I get bored with seeing the same dress shapes over and over (especially strapless). I wasn't a fan of the material though, whatever material that is lol.
I would never, ever wear it...but I thought it was fitting for "Bella" and the detailing in the back was stunning.
I loved her dress but it's sooooo not my style lol. I was more enchanted with her shoes, and CRAZY in love with the decor! The white hanging flowers were gorgeous! But it looked like she was in pain when she was first walking down the aisle lol- what was up with that?
i loved it so much! I'd never wear LONG sleeves like that, but I would totally have worn that dress in 3/4 sleeves (to just above the elbow) pre-twilight. now however I could never wear anything similar :-P
I also LOVED her shoes, hair, and veil. I was actually surprised I liked any of it, since i hate twilight and I hate her.
Pretty much I want to watch the movie again JUST for the wedding. Not the scene, jsut the details of it. The wedding itself was slightly painful to watch.
AND I loved that she switched her e-ring to her right hand and wore a plain band on left. Also weird, since I never much liked that trend before but now am very tempted..
Its not my style but I loved the detail of the back of the dress and I think that it suits her.
I LOVED it. I loved her whole wedding look. She totally pulled it off. And I really don't even like Twilight.
@SarahConnors: I couldn't stop laughing at her facial expressions! I was like ok can she at least put her game face on?? She loves him so much yet she doesn't want to marry him? I don't understand twilight haha
i haven't actually seen the movie yet, but i've seen a ton of pictures... i probably would never wear a dress like it but OMG i thought it was gorgeous.

Hate the dress, but loved the shoes. I copied the look of the shoes for my own. Here are mine....
Bella's character is so plain and bland (at least in the movies...what does Edward see in her anyways?!), so I thought it was refreshing for her to wear such a unique and interesting wedding dress. I thought Kristen Stewart pulled it off wonderfully!
I did LOVE the dream sequence dress though...
I thought the back was toorevealing for being a "vintage" dress like the book described. I also thought it was too sexy for Bella's taste. I was a little disapointed.
That being said, personally, I liked the dress :)
Love the move, hated the dress... her "dream" dress was much better!
loooved the back, the front was too "geometric" for my taste, her make up was amazing and the wedding made me die wishing for that look but alas I dont have millions of dollars to spend on flowers!
I LOVED the dress! I thought it was perfect and look beautiful on her. Although, it's not what I pictures from reading the books.
It was ok, but it was nothing like what the book described. Same with that huge bubble engagement ring she wears in the movie.
I liked the dress; it was understated but luxurious, sexy but modest, classic but unique, and vintagey but modern. The buttons down the back and on the sleeves were stunning. My biggest issue with it is that the seams on the bodice cut across her boobs in a bizarre way. I feel like the seams should have been under her bust rather than on it.
I totally LOVED IT....I would hate it for me as it's not my style at all, but that dress was 100% something Bella would have picked out for herself...and I loved It on her!!!
Does anyone have a pic of the dream sequence dress? I can't find one online and I haven't seen the movie yet. Just curious what that looks like. I've seen the actual one though and I'm not a big fan. Too plain in the front
I hate the actual dress, front and back, but I think it looks good on her. I like the long sleeves, wish there were more contemporary wedding dresses with long sleeves. I would totally wear one. I didn't notice the dream sequence had a different dress, but apparently my FI did, haha!
@missfenway: Here's the back, I can't find a pic of the front of it but it's got a sweetheart bodice.
Hated the original long sleeved by SO really liked it. I much prefer the dream sequence dress!
@ella86: Got the actual shoes from davids bridal-vera wang collection in ivory for $58 and the decorative crystal shoe clip from etsy.com for $50.
FI and I just watched it this weekend and had a laugh about the dress. He thinks the front looks like the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers suit. Anyway, so NOT my taste but the dream sequence dress was to DIE FOR!!
Just tring to find some pictures of the dress online and the one I can find her wearing looks nothing like this, does she have two dresses or did they hang their mind at the last minute and film her in something else?

STUNNING! I want the dress, I have a whole thread about it. That dress is perfect it is classy, elegant with a vintage feel....she even had the cathedral length veil I want. Dream sequence dress was beautiful too but I am getting sick of looking strapless dresses.
The front was okay. Hated the back. The buttons on top of that sheer overlay were weird. It looked like a spine. Everyone I've told that to can't un-see it now, haha!!
